I got a look at my F350 that came in Wednesday. They still need to put the winch on, as well as replacing the stationary running boards w power. They are putting OEM power boards on N/C, maybe because I had their mistake so well documented, maybe because it's an expensive truck fewer people might want because of the particularly unique build. They offered the AMP steps, but for me that's a no-go, and they were good w the Ford steps. No pictures, but a quick look at the truck, and I don't mind saying it's impressive. Glacier Gray... it looks nice. REAL nice.
For
Variable556 on the X-plan thing, they went by the book with the proof of eligibility and a copy of a current card. I didn't ask if a printed active member status page would do the. same thing, Out of curiosity, I followed to PIN sheet I have back to the AXZD plan rules page;
https://www.fordpartner.com/partnerweb/howitworks/how_it_works.do, and looked up the formal rules

The dealer is following the paperwork for compensation, so if it were me, I'd get ahead of it and talk to the dealer sales manager and make sure he's good with the situation since he's the one that has to follow through with Ford after the sales is complete. Maybe mention you were counting on the 4-6 months they quoted, but get out in front of it so there's no misunderstanding with them. My dealer's been cool about details, but I'm in the trust-but-verify camp of these kind of things myself.
