2024 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build Thread

That is a lot later than I was hoping. I was hoping to place an order in July and start looking at October-December for delivery (wishful thinking, I know).
I'm hoping for that for the 350 I ordered the first week of March, worried THAT might be wishful thinking

Very nice awesome color. I’m still waiting and waiting and waiting stuck in shipping for almost two months now
You GOTTA be kidding. That stinks. For whatever it is worth, I just tried tracking mine and it still shows it is in shipment, even though it was delivered 5 days ago to the dealer. I really hope yours gets out of whatever purgatory is holding it!

Me too it sucks because I don’t know what the hold up is

Im about to put in an order and Im curious if there is anyhting I should avoid. Are there any options that are known or beleived to be holding up production?

Any trim higher then lariet, max recline seats and maybe the spray in bed liner from what I've seen. Hell even the F-250 themselves since they shut down the production lines to shore up QA T the kentucky plant.

Anybody know of any current production delays, back logs or part shortages? Mine has been in production since May 2nd and all I’m hearing from customer care is that they estimate it to be finished production by June 14th. Dealer is silent as well.

Dealer got excited and submitted the order before I got there to review it. I guess I will find out how bad max recline and bed liner will hurt production time.

Well mine is an antimatter blue with Carmelo interior Platinum F350 without max recline seats but does have the spray in bed liner and I’ve been in production for 3 weeks when it should take 2-3 days max. I’ve heard some grumblings about the Camelo interior being an issue as well. Whatever it is, mines in purgatory apparently.

I ordered a fairly basic F250 Lariat, Tremor, 6.7L on 4/23. Ford confirmed 4/29. 5/2 I get an emailed that I am scheduled for the week of 6/3 and have a VIN#.

Bedliner is always a delay. It goes off site for that.

Originally, I was going to have them do it there. Have heard a few horror stories of the bed not getting prepped before it's sprayed on and will peel right up. I'll just got with Line-X, something I know that is a great product and works.

Your dealer can make changes up until VIN Assignment/Scheduled Date. Luckily I changed my order from a Non-Tremor to a Tremor 3 days before I got scheduled. Have your dealer make the changes you want now and have them send you the new DORA. At least, remove the factory bed liner and get it done locally. It sounds like the Max Recline seats are a delay, so it's your decision if you can live without them. What trim level and options did you (or the dealer) choose? Choosing the Tremor option will delete power running board on Lariat Ultimate and higher trim levels. You will get the fixed, Raptor style running boards unless your dealer re-checks the box for power running boards. Make your changes quick before it's too late.

I have heard and seen the same in the Raptor world. Big chunks peeling off of the factory applied liner. Line-X is the way to go.

2024 KR 7.3 ordered 12-19 went into being built for 3 weeks no change will be delivered someday to Granger

You can change the order if it’s not too close to production date. I changed mine after VIN and production date were given. Not sure what the time cut off is.

I asked my dealer about this as I wanted BAP on my truck and it includes the bedliner. They told me if it fails while under warranty, they send it to a nearby Line-X shop for replacement. This past weekend, I tried pulling up on the edge of my factory liner and it won't budge. Maybe you get a good one or you don't, I have seen the images of large areas peeling off other trucks.

Well got a call from ford customer care and was told that my delivery date was changed to June 15 now (and that just an estimate I’m not counting on it ever getting there) I just can’t believe it takes over 2 months to get a truck that’s 3 hours away. ( I can drive to Florida in 20 hours) So not sure what to do about it should I just cancel it. I have been waiting 19 months for this truck and its just sitting in purgatory why I don’t know with no help from ford or my dealer this is very disappointing and frustrating and thinking of walking away and placing and order for a 2025 through another dealer out of state that I know can actually get the truck.

I would find another Dealer that is crazy at the rate your going the 25s will be out
