2024 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build Thread

Ordered 03/05/2024: F350, Platinum, Tremor, Rapid Red, 7.3, Onyx, Carpet Delete, 5th Wheel, Max Recline, Bed Liner.
Scheduled Week: 06/03/2024.
I'm "IN"!
Just a heads up that I wish I had gotten... Make sure you physically see and feel a truck with carpet delete on the 2024s. I just got my 250 Lariat and wish I had gotten carpet. After less than 200 miles I have almost put multiple holes in the floor. It's like tissue paper thin rubber. Feels real cheap too. Mine is a 95% work truck, tools and fabricated components in and out of the cab/bed. I feel I shouldn't have to buy a floor liner to not rub a hole in the floor with my boots after 300 miles either. It's nothing like the old indestructible vinyl floors of generations past.

Just a heads up, but I wouldn't trust the floor to not be perforated after loading the dogs in even once. 🤙

I ordered mine 13 Feb 2024 and got lucky with a 27 March build date. It took about five weeks for delivery, but I picked it up from Laura Ford of Sullivan (MO) last weekend and drove it 500 miles home. After 1250 miles with it this week, I’m really enjoying it. I highly recommend Laura Ford if you’re willing to travel for a purchase. Not as big a discount as Granger, but they offer invoice pricing and will pick you up in St Louis for the hour drive to the dealership. The purchase process was quick and painless with Cory Downing.

F250 Lariat Ultimate, BAP, Tremor, moonroof, power running boards, max recline seats

Did you not add any mats yet? I don't think the deleted carpet option is meant to have nothing added on top of it. Maybe I'm wrong.

Picked her up last week. Awesome truck! I’m still getting used to driving it and navigating through all the options. For those of you still waiting for your build, hang tight, it will be worth it. For those of you who have yours, well, you know…

When do the 24 order banks close and when does 2024 production finish?

Beautiful pickup!

I’m not sure probably a good question for the Chat on Ford site or the dealer. The Explorer I posted above is a 25

I was told by my dealership today that the 24' F-series trucks still on order with no VIN or production date should be updated this month with a production date. Unsure how accurate that is, although I'm praying for accuracy.

My order went from “we’ve received your order” to this. Hopefully I get a better update next time!

I was just told that 25 order banks open in September or early October… I know they told me the end date for 24’s but I cannot remember as I plan on ordering a 25 this fall.

That is a lot later than I was hoping. I was hoping to place an order in July and start looking at October-December for delivery (wishful thinking, I know).

Did this info come from a salesperson or a trusted source?

I picked up my '24 6.7 HO Lariat Tremor this past week, from Granger and drove it home to Albuquerque, about 1000 miles and it was great!

Today the air conditioner is not working! It just blows out hot air... anyone else had issues with their brand new trucks A/C?

No mine works wonderful. There are three automatic settings for fan speed and I’m assuming the A/c button is depressed and back lot indicating power is on. And then your auto settings are set at a cooling level I would just try lo or hit the max AC .

Turn the temp to hot for a few mins then back to cold. No fix for it yet, but my dealer has seen several with that issue.
