Thats what they were telling me.Thanks I called and said they could not tell me convoy vs rail. I’ll try again later/tomorrow.
Ohio. So convoy makes sense I suppose.Thats what they were telling me.
Nope, If Granger its going by rail to St louis, then rail to Kansas City, Then truck to GRanger. So dumb.,....Ohio. So convoy makes sense I suppose.
Ill be interested to know... Ive seen 2 days to 3 weeksMy truck arrived at final railyard destination this morning. We'll see how long it takes to unload and trucked to dealership. About an hour away from final destination.
Im hoping mine rolls in to Granger by Monday. I feel they could have it ready for me by Friday and Ill fly in Thursday night to Omaha. What is the irony... I had hoped to pick up my new truck when returning from a business trip to the East Coast. Well, I returned home today after Hayleigh from Granger confirmed again last night that no update was shown in the system.
I just had gotten into my UBER from SAN to my home when I got an email that my truck is on the lot at Granger. I know they need some time to inspect and get it ready (and that is fine), but neither the Ford website nor the internal system Granger has access to show the truck delivery. Well, maybe it shows now but I just checked Ford's website and I am still seeing the clock turned back to "order confirmed".
I am supposed to get a call later from Granger and then hopefully I know when I can fly out and get my "new baby"![]()
I have no idea. I had gotten information that it was in a convoy by Jack Cooper Transport (or whatever trucking company it was), but that is all I know. I was even ready to work from Des Moines for the rest of the week if the truck would have gotten there a day earlier to save myself time and effort, but it is what it is. I am mostly happy now that I secured the $2,000 Cash Reward, as it would have expired on April 2nd. Now I can wait it out until the truck is properly inspected and ready for me. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.Im hoping mine rolls in to Granger by Monday. I feel they could have it ready for me by Friday and Ill fly in Thursday night to Omaha.
Do you know the actually path of your truck? Did it ever get on a rail?
That's pretty good! A hair over two months from order to delivery.Well, it is official now. Ford finally updated their website for my truck.
Briefly talked with Granger via email and they are trying to determine if the truck can be ready tomorrow afternoon. Otherwise I probably push it to Wednesday next week.

Im holding hope mine somehow can arrive monday and be ready for a friday morning pick up. Still airline tickets available. Mine was built 3 days after you and shipped two days after you. SO maybe with any luck by monday. Mine def went by train though and that can delay it a ton. Seems yours may not have. So strange.Well, it is official now. Ford finally updated their website for my truck.

Just to update, I received the email today with VIN and scheduled date of 4/29 (ordered 2/24/24, Priority 19 from El Cajon Ford). I've decided to go with a diesel that is arriving at another dealership in the next week or 2 so won't be going through with my order. Its a F350 7.3L Glacier Gray Crew Cab, short bed, Ultimate Tremor with BAP, 5th wheel prep, Max recline seats and will be heading to San Diego (El Cajon Ford) when completeAnyone order in the past few months with a Priority Code 19 and have gotten into production? Placed order from local dealer and originally he had the order with a Priority Code 3. Once I asked him what the X-plan price was he sent me a new order with the plan price on there but he changed the Priority Code to 19. From a YouTube video I watched, the salesman was talking about the order process and said their dealership places orders ranging from a priority 3 to 19 and that they would use the faster orders (3-10) for previous customers that maybe ordered the previous year and truck was never built. New customers would get the 11-19 priority. There's at least one other dealer near me that said they accept X-plan so I might go see them and place an order as well if they can get me a higher priority.
Same! Built 2/6, sitting ever since. Have an ECO that expires April 2nd that most likely won’t be able to be applied. It’s frustrating that I can’t apply a discount that ford gave me because Ford couldn’t get their Sh^t together and deliver the thing that Ford does, within the timeframe Ford specified…Congrats! ...And it drives me nuts to see folks with the same 'built' date close to getting their trucks and mine is yet to ship. Sitting in some parking lot no doubt collecting dust.
2/6!? Ok, you get the right to be mad, not me. Supply chain definitely is broken on their end if something sits in a stage for a few weeks, let alone a month and a half.Same! CONGRATS man... when did your truck land at GRanger?Well, flying out to Iowa this afternoon. Tomorrow afternoon pickup at Granger.
Plan is to make it to Lincoln, NE by the end of the day tomorrow and stay for the night at a TBD hotel. From there next destination will be Grand Junction, CO by end of day Saturday, and then from there make it to Las Vegas by Sunday night and finish it up being back in San Diego by mid-day Monday.
