2024 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build Thread

Did you not notice it for two days or did it back date?
It back dated. then a couple days later it updated with the shipping information. I'm suspecting a glitch along the way.

My truck status is still showing "order confirmed" even though it was built already. I suspect it to be a glitch as the only reason for an update would be because it shipped.

So, I reached out to Ford via chat. And as suspected, my truck is in transit via Jack Cooper Transport and they even gave me a convoy number, but there is way to check on it (unless I try calling the transport company, but it is doubtful they would provide me with information).

I relayed the information to Hayleigh at Granger - hoping she can see more in her systems. I am still hopeful to get the truck eventually next week. I have to travel for work to New Jersey and Des Moines is a fairly short flight (via Chicago) compared to flying back to San Diego and then from there to Des Moines.

Mines not even on a transport yet.
Once on a trailer it should be to GRanger the next day at the latest. its only 600 miles.

That’s a helluva a drive. I just did Des Moines to San Jose in mine.

Wow that’s awesome

Whoo HOO. hey guys, a little late to the party but I ordered my 24 on 2/12/24... waiting for my next update other than congrats you ordered. patiently/impatiently waiting, but still within my 45 days of hey you will get something.

however I'm okay with it I changed my order about 4 times.
I went from white tremor, to white SD, to glacier Gray, to Glacier Gray Tremor.

it was quite the change, I had wanted a Cummins, for forever, but I was involve with the second gens, those were my favorite ever since 01 when my dad got one, but the sound isn't the same for the new diesels anymore so I figured (with some father wisdom) if its gonna be quiet anyways I might as well get the one with the aluminum body so I didn't have to deal with rust, which I am having with my current 2001 gas dodge.

anyways all that to say, I have ordered one but still haven't gotten any updates but am within my 45 day window still
what is the 45 day thing that you mentioned? I ordered my Truck on 2/3/24 but I am completely out of the loop. My wife's friend is a manager of a ford dealership and she put the order in for me. She said she would text me with info when it was starting production and such. So far I just confirmation on the order but that is all.

I believe your order confirmation email from Ford should show a part about "What's next?" and it says something about receiving an update about your order within 45 days.

I checked with Hayleigh at Granger and the truck had not been through Kansas City as of late Friday afternoon. So, not sure if it actually has moved an inch yet. She is going to check on Monday.

I’m doing granger to Phoenix.. shitty part is there is nothing scenic about it
Are you doing I-70 and then I-25 before heading West? Get off the interstate in New Mexico and head south-west that way to see something.

Your drive was not much shorter, I guess. I remember heading East on I-80 from San Fran to Denver and it took forever in comparison doing the same trip from San Diego.

I like long drives and will take it slow and try to stop here and there. I haven't had a day off in a while, so that whole trip turns into a bit of a mini-vacay. Maybe I can even find a friend who wants to join me.

Local dealer showed this as "In Production" last week so I went and put a deposit down. Lariat Ultimate Tremor, H.O. Diesel, BAP, 5th wheel prep, Max Recline seats...View attachment 148809
Nice Truck! Almost identical as mine on order.

Should not be too long now for you.

I look at it from a semi perspective. The trailers aren’t unhooked from a truck. Drivers make money burning miles.
If it was loaded, drivers leaving. If he needs to reset, sleeps 10 and wakes up and drives 10 hours and is there.
It’s not even a full shift for a semi. At most he may have one other delivery. But that can still be done same day.

My buddy lives in council bluffs and so I’ll leave from there Saturday morning.
I’ll go down 80 and then cut down at an angle to az. Come in the back way to Phoenix by Holbrook.
