2024 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build Thread

Less worried about it sitting around not getting shipped after my conversations with dealer saying it was in quality control. Also the shipped emails appear to come a day or 2 after built.

Now that it's built ford chat says march 29th to April 3rd. Seems about 3 weeks 0lus another 3 days. I'm assuming it's shipping this week based on this.

Mine did the same thing and the next morning was marked as shipped, all green dots reappeared at that time too

Whoo HOO. hey guys, a little late to the party but I ordered my 24 on 2/12/24... waiting for my next update other than congrats you ordered. patiently/impatiently waiting, but still within my 45 days of hey you will get something.

however I'm okay with it I changed my order about 4 times.
I went from white tremor, to white SD, to glacier Gray, to Glacier Gray Tremor.

it was quite the change, I had wanted a Cummins, for forever, but I was involve with the second gens, those were my favorite ever since 01 when my dad got one, but the sound isn't the same for the new diesels anymore so I figured (with some father wisdom) if its gonna be quiet anyways I might as well get the one with the aluminum body so I didn't have to deal with rust, which I am having with my current 2001 gas dodge.


anyways all that to say, I have ordered one but still haven't gotten any updates but am within my 45 day window still

Ordered a 23 back in December 22. Truck never got built. Ordered a Lariat 24 in December 23. Middle of February I received a VIN finally and a scheduled build date of April 15th. Yesterday I received an email saying my build date was changed to March 25th. My 20 was in the shop today for an oil change and they noticed the rear main is starting to leak a bit. Fingers crossed this truck gets here before I have to deal with that myself...

Rear main seal leak sucks… its like a $100 gasket but can be upwards of 2K or more in labor since the transmission has to be dropped.

It's still under warranty. So will be $100 deductible. But the loss of the truck for a week will be the hardest part.

Your dealer should provide you a loaner/rental if it's warranty work. Every time I've taken my truck in for warranty in the past, they have given me a rental.

Depends on what plan you purchase for extended warranty

Your dealer should provide you a loaner/rental if it's warranty work. Every time I've taken my truck in for warranty in the past, they have given me a rental.

It's an extended warrenty. 70k miles.

Yea, the truck has 70k miles. 7.3l 2020. First warrenty work it's needed. Extended warrenty has the $100 deductible.
But trying to stay on topic, build date was moved up by 20 days as of yesterday. Just wanted to share the good news!

Not sure what Ford is up to, but the "green dots/checkmarks" on the timeline for my truck build reset to just show "Order Received". The other dates are still there, but what the heck?! I hope this better means it is shipping today ...

Mine didn't change to shipped until 6 days after "Built" probably due to bedliner? Hopefully soon brother!

Des Moines. I bought it through Granger. I am flying to New Jersey next week for work and it would be fantastic to avoid flying back to San Diego and rather "detour" to Iowa and drive my baby home. There is still hope ...
