2024 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build Thread

A week and a half until mine goes into production. I am excited. But maybe less so for the drive west.

Chrispy, I can’t wait to hear how your drive goes beyond the initial 500.

Meant to ask folks here, placed the order yesterday, but dealer said they couldn’t show me invoice pricing yet because they needed a VIN. They also said that X-Plan no longer offers price protection, which I thought was odd.

Anyone comment if either of the above is true?
Your dealer is lying to you. Imho you should find a different dealer to sork with. If they will be this devious to you now what will they do in the future?

I did end up getting a form that looks like the DORA build document, and they wrote on it X Plan and signed / dated it. This form does only show MSRP.

The email they sent asked to sign and return the form, and that it represented that they would give me X Plan pricing upon sale of truck.

I’m not really concerned they won’t honor it given I have something signed and in writing, but the price protection thing still isn’t sitting well with me. They claim they can’t do price protection, but if I have a signed DORA showing current MSRP and they added some signed notation of X Plan on the DORA, isn’t price protection out of their control since Ford would be cutting the check for the difference?

Anyways, if someone has another dealership in North Texas that honored X Plan and price protection please let me know. I’m pretty sure I could cancel this order and place a new one?
Don't know where you are in North Texas but it's 700 miles from Dallas to Granger Ford in Iowa. They offer invoice -2% and the best customer service I've ever heard of or encountered and guaranteed pricing. Saved me 8k off the msrp for my build. They do ask for 1k down when the order is submitted. Ask for Chip or Savanah

Yeah Granger is an option, but Chip said they are waiting for Banks to open up again.

Trying to stay local, but I swear I just contacted my 3rd dealership in the DFW area…

They told me the same thing, can’t show me XPlan pricing until they receive the invoice 🤷🏻‍♂️

They are not being honest with you. As soon as the order goes in they know x plan.

Also, thanks to Chip and Eric for making this a great buying experience at Granger. Very easy and great deals.
I was there yesterday as well picking up my CG platinum. What time were you there? They have a lot of trucks on that lot.

Or 200 miles south in Fredericksburg, you can get one for invoice and not have to travel that far. Others on here can attest, easiest car deal you will ever do.

I talked to my DM yesterday to see about getting the invoice price and x-plan break down for my order however even though I have a vin the window sticker won't be populated until about 7-10 days before truck goes into production(02/05/24? He did say that once the wS is populated he will get me the invoice with the x-plan.

So this aligns closer to what I’m being told by the 3 dealers I called, but opposite of what others here are saying

Hey I can't seem to find any pics, but can one of you link a Pic of your tremor with sport appearance package WITH the oem power running boards?

Also, anyone with a Tremor and factory power running boards, how far do they drop down? I have to get them aftermarket due to the 40/20/40 front seat.

The 23 Lariat Ultimate tremor 7.3 I ordered had chrome pkg and power running boards unfortunately I don't have any pics with them out. But I believe that they dropped a good 6 inches was a lot better than the tremor off road ones.

I should be able to get the invoice and x-plan pricing right around the last week of January which should be about the time my ws is generated.

Interesting, like I said others here are saying all that should be available / done at the time of signing the DORA

Maybe there DM's get it some other way but I watched my DM put all the info in the system and nothing was available.

Just got to Albuquerque and over 1000 now. Rides great but it definitely is affected by wind more than my other truck. It also takes a bit to get used to the lane keeping assist and the annoying warning to keep your hands in the wheel. But these are minor things that I am getting used to. The camera system is really nice for parking and the seats are comfortable. I’m only getting about 12mpg though with the 7.3 and gear ratio on the Tremor.

I saw a guy on YouTube use a 1.5# ankle weight wrapped around the steering wheel and no more annoying reminder every 15 seconds
