2024 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build Thread

I have been away from the forum for a while but still waiting for a truck. Ford chat knows nothing but I contacted Hayleigh at Granger and she says it looks like I might get a VIN around Jan 22nd. That is exciting progress. Maybe I will get a 2024 truck after all.

You really could have shortened this post up a whole lot. You could have basically said I ordered a F-350 Platinum with every single thing Ford offers. This thing is probably even coming with a Ford Ranger in the bed. :ROFLMAO:

Fart around on the ford.com web site like you are shopping and at some point this will appear in the lower right corner. It is not very consistent. Try the build and price page.
Or if you have an order update email from Ford, it is in the middle of that email. It says Contact us. That takes you to another page where you have the option to chat.

Meant to ask folks here, placed the order yesterday, but dealer said they couldn’t show me invoice pricing yet because they needed a VIN. They also said that X-Plan no longer offers price protection, which I thought was odd.

Anyone comment if either of the above is true?

Not showing the invoice price is bull. They can see it as soon as they put in the order. Sounds like they're playing that game cuz they're not going to price protect you.

Which probably goes hand in hand with them saying x-plan doesn't offer price protecting.

Just my .02

Yeah, I thought it was odd. So does X-Plan provide price protection? If so, won’t their hands be tied and they have to honor the pricing protection?

Now that I think about it, they actually said exactly what you mentioned. They can’t give me a invoice price without a VIN, and that’s because X-Plan no longer provides price protection

As soon as I placed my order I was sent a preview order with both MSRP prices for the truck and every option and next to that showed invoice price for each item. At the very bottom it showed total invoice price, x plan, d plan and a/z plan pricing. I ordered through Granger and was not using any plan it was their discount for online orders.

This what I got from my dealer the day I ordered. Received a VIN 4 days later.

You can easily go online and see what x-plan pricing will be specific to your built order.
I don’t have the exact link, but it’s searchable. Once you input your xplan code(not your exact PIN) , the next page has a link which brings you to a build page. Build your exact truck and the x plan price will be shown.

As far as price ordering, I signed my build sheet along with my dealer that notes x plan pricing will be honored.

I printed the xplan build sheet and have it in my file to bring to the dealer should my order get scheduled. Placed it in July and haven’t heard anything about a scheduling date. According to ford chat it is “unscheduled clean”

250 KR with some other options added.

Kind of a pain to get it to work though a link but this worked for me.
https://www.fordpartner.com/partnerweb/vehicles/pricing.do
You may have to navigate back to this after entering your partner code. Then navigate to the Superduty link and then the build and price tool link. It will look like the normal build and price site but will give X-plan pricing.

That little trick worked! When I tried to build one after using my code to get in the page didn’t work.

Just got a form to sign showing the dealership to honor X Plan on my order. Still nothing about price protection but this is a step forward I guess

No tool boxes or tonneau covers or back up beeper. Probably everything else. They probably will not throw in a Ranger, but they might throw in a EV that they can't get rid of.

Since all the SD purchases we have made collectively have supported funding Fords EV business you would think at least they would offer us some good financing deals. Oh no that 0% is just for the Mach E……….

Bullcrap. Xplan rules state that dealer is required to show you the xplan pricing. Go find another dealer.
