2024 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build Thread

I’m taking the interstate to take mine hope. I’ll be driving normal speeds.

I’ve broken in some new sprayers and terragators. I run them hard straight out of the gate. Seat them rings right. I’ve never had a problem. There is warranty there also and I’ve never heard of anyone being denied warranty because they “didn’t break it in right”. Use it in the way you intend to.

Has no one received a new truck lately? Mine has been shipped since the 10th but hasn’t arrived at the dealership yet. Should be any day now.

Apparently I got an extra Christmas present. I know there is no way possible that it was built on Christmas day, at least I hope not.... Hope to pickup in the coming weeks from Granger.

The break-in procedure topic has been beat to death elsewhere in the forums. Consensus seemed to just drive it day 1 and not baby it. One suggestion I liked is if driving back from the dealer on the highway, put it in manual mode and change the gears once in a while to vary the rpm’s.

I have been away from the forum for a while but still waiting for a truck. Ford chat knows nothing but I contacted Hayleigh at Granger and she says it looks like I might get a VIN around Jan 22nd. That is exciting progress. Maybe I will get a 2024 truck after all.

$109,020 as of July 18th, 2023. One would think that Ford would be anxious to take that kind of money off of my hands, but that is apparently not the case. I guess they don't need the money that bad.

We have similar trucks at Granger on order I just don’t have quite as many options on my Tremor Platinum HO. I was scheduled for week of 1/8 and Ford chat said a build date of 1/13. Granger just scheduled a bunch of their higher trims. I would imagine you will be very soon. Plus who wants to drive a new truck in the salt!

Fart around on the ford.com web site like you are shopping and at some point this will appear in the lower right corner. It is not very consistent. Try the build and price page.

Ended up going Oxford White, almost when grey metallic to change things up but our last 5 vehicles have been white and it was the safe pick.

Wife has the metallic white tri coat on her Expedition, and wasn’t sure if I would like it on the truck.

I went with the Oxford White as well. Wife has the White Tri coat on her Navigator and I had it on my 2017 F350 and I agree, plus it looked kind of yellow in certain light and after a few years it looked even more yellow to me.

My guess is they prefer to build 100 lower optioned, $80K trucks for every couple of unicorns. The numbers game likely favors them churning out the cookie cutter trucks.
