I turned mine off and it went away. LolI saw a guy on YouTube use a 1.5# ankle weight wrapped around the steering wheel and no more annoying reminder every 15 seconds

The 6.7 HO is not affected by the wind.Just got to Albuquerque and over 1000 now. Rides great but it definitely is affected by wind more than my other truck. It also takes a bit to get used to the lane keeping assist and the annoying warning to keep your hands in the wheel. But these are minor things that I am getting used to. The camera system is really nice for parking and the seats are comfortable. I’m only getting about 12mpg though with the 7.3 and gear ratio on the Tremor.
Turn off the lane departure system. I do that on long highway runs and in my opinion a better driving experience. Congrats on the new truck.Just got to Albuquerque and over 1000 now. I have heard rumor that it can sometimes happen with stock orders but not common on custom orders without notice of change. Example would be removal of multi-contour seats last year. It’s more likely dealer error entering the order into the system especially with the power boards but factory errors can also occur. A truck that arrived to the dealer with mine had a factory mistake and had to be reordered with special priority to remedy the error. This dealer in CO with my truck without deployable running boards (which I ordered) says Ford builds trucks and changes orders based on what parts are available…I said I don’t believe that to be true…based on what I read here that is totally a lie…have any of you heard of this practice???
Not a chance! My wife already has plans to turn my side of the garage into storage!that big boy is not fitting in your garage, is it?mine is going to be guarding the driveway. Actually just got to the dealer from shipping yesterday. Should be home soon!
Congrats @Philly!Just picked it up. F350 Lariat Ultimate 7.3 CCLB with the sunroof and fifth prep. (Non tremor) Glacier Grey. Definitely looks better in the sunlight. Totally different color when it’s cloudy.
Holy payload.

That color looks awesome with the chrome. I was able to see the Azure Grey in person. Hopefully Granger has the GG in stock so I can see. If the AMB was a little lighter, I’d of done that. Love how they change in different light. Not a chance! My wife already has plans to turn my side of the garage into storage!
The glacier grey has to be seen in person. When it’s cloudy, none of the metallic shows. In the sun, it shows and sparkles and the pictures just don’t do it justice.
There’s one there yesterday when I picked up mine at granger. I believe it was lariat, not a tremor though. That color looks awesome with the chrome. I was able to see the Azure Grey in person. They probably forgot to re-add them after selecting the tremor package. Once you select a tremor it switches to the normal tremor boards. You need to go back and re-add them. This dealer in CO with my truck without deployable running boards (which I ordered) says Ford builds trucks and changes orders based on what parts are available…I said I don’t believe that to be true…based on what I read here that is totally a lie…have any of you heard of this practice???
I’ll have to try it. The lane assist works to well I guess and unless you fight it every once in awhile it thinks you don’t have your hands on the wheel.I saw a guy on YouTube use a 1.5# ankle weight wrapped around the steering wheel and no more annoying reminder every 15 seconds
I went back and checked my DORA and sure enough power running boards were not listed. Messages the dealer, he updated the DORA and now it’s listed. Price did not change. They probably forgot to re-add them after selecting the tremor package. Once you select a tremor it switches to the normal tremor boards. You need to go back and re-add them.
If it’s a mid build (the order/build sheet includes them) tThe bitch of it is he did add them back in according to the build sheet. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the sport appearance package, or the factory being fishy.
That will get a tremor scheduled real quick.Always nice to know peeps in high places…my friends kid married a Ford Southwest regional manager…
That is a lie. Customer orders that need to be modified come with a notification and require approval/acceptance by the customer. Last year and especially in 22 they were deleting things like steering wheel heat due to lack of chips but customers were always notified and given the option to accept the change or cancel the order. In your case I'm 99% sure they made a mistake when ordering. If deployable running boards are defaulted then you select the Tremor package you have to manually change it back to deployable running boards. If the dealer missed this step and is blaming ford I find that to be very sleazy. This dealer in CO with my truck without deployable running boards (which I ordered) says Ford builds trucks and changes orders based on what parts are available…I said I don’t believe that to be true…based on what I read here that is totally a lie…have any of you heard of this practice???
