2024 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build Thread

My truck arrived at the dealer this morning and I was able to pick it up tonight. I fully expected it to be at least another week. I hope others following this thread get their trucks soon.
Awesome! Can't wait for mine too

Congrats!!

Curious what happens when you order and decide not to purchase… maybe due to change of mind and wanting something different, or simply placing multiple orders to better the odds.

Do you get the money back you put down to order it?

Neither of mine required money down. So really nothing happens, you just don't purchase the truck.

In some ways, buyers placing orders on SD’s and then backing out benefits the dealer as much as it does the buyer. The retail orders get filled faster so if the buyer backs out, dealer now has inventory they wouldn’t have otherwise had and can sell it likely at MSRP. The only people that really suffer are the buyers that do it the more ethical way. Granger requires a deposit for this exact reason though.

I’m finally in production with build week next week. What are the chances it’s built and delivered by end of the year?

Not sure. but if you put down a deposit, that usually means you won't get it back. That pays the guy to spend five minutes putting in the order😉

Very slim with the plant shut down for 2 weeks for Christmas. Your only chance is if yours is built towards the beginning of the week. Otherwise, I'd wager it will sit until after the new year. Sorry.

I was required to put a $500 deposit down.

I made sure it was refundable. Got it in writing.

Me too. Thanks to everybody ordering pickups from multiple dealers in hopes of getting one, and eating up all the allocations.
Yea kinda frustrating (more so infuriating) seeing folks w 2 trucks in production and I (along with many others) still don’t have a scheduled build date but C’est la vie

Well looks like ford is not honoring my cash offer of $2000. Met the criteria of placing an order before the deadline and superduty nor xplan was excluded. Called ford and they said nothing they can do about it. Dealer (Baierl ford in zelionople) said nothing they can do since it is a ford offer.

Baierl also claimed another buyer last week suffered the same fate. Angry.

I take back every negative thought I had. The team at Baierl Ford in Zelionople contacted ford multiple times. They did eventually find my pco in the system but claim it was tied to an address in a different state than I lived which is why it was not “showing available when they entered my details”. Long story short they honored it and I picked up the truck today. Could not be happier with the experience. The dealer was shocked at the prices for extended warranty that granger offers vs what they could offer and did not argue that it was better than they could do.

I will post pictures tomorrow when it is light out again.

Between xplan, package discounts and the pco it was close to $9k off msrp.

This is basically what my dealer told me. My dealer did not require a deposit and said I had 30 days to purchase from arrival date.

Sounds like that dealer just made you a repeat customer. Good on them and fantastic news for you!

Picked mine tremor ultimate package, black package, 6.7 on Saturday. Ordered on October 3rd. Built right on time. Shipped in 11/23 and arrived on 12/6.
Sweet just like mine but a 350 plus mine has yellow tremor bed side stickers

How do you find out if Ford is applying the pco. I have 1000. Dealer said when I ordered that Ford should apply it.
