LET'S GET THE HYPE GOING!! TELL US WHAT YOU HAVE DONE OR ARE PLANNING TO DO TO GET READY FOR OUR BIG BEND MEET-UP. EQUIPMENT ADDITIONS, TRUCK MODIFICATIONS, WHATEVER YOUR DOING TO PREPARE!! THIS WILL HELP OTHERS TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE PREPARED FOR A FUN WEEKEND IN THE ๐Ÿœ DESERT!!
Oh where to even start...
The trip is going to coincide with me rolling over 100,000 miles so alot of my prep work is dual-purpose. Get it ready for the desert trails as well as 100,000 mile birthday upgrades and maintenance.

Rear diff drain and refill, Banks cover; transfer case drain and refill; transmission fluid drain, filter, gasket, refill (pain in the ass on your back in the driveway, btw); front diff drain and refill...went with the LubeLocker gasket;

Grabbed some gear from @legmar - the rear bumper light brackets (so my previous pipe clamp job can look a little more professional) as well as the Midland GMRS Mic dash mount - top notch stuff!!;

Had a bad 4wd driver-side vacuum seal so replaced that, and did the passenger side as well for good measure. Replaced both manual 4wd hub lockers; New drag link, new upper steering stabilizer (bilstein) and new track bar to address a "bump" i've been hearing for a few weeks.

...and the icing on the cake ...BFG KO3's 305 70 18's are going on next Friday!!

the to-do list includes the CP4 disaster prevention kit currently sitting on the workbench (that ONE gas station in Terlingua makes me nervous!) as well as the replacement cold-side intercooler pipe. While the CP4 is getting done, thinking about a new serpentine belt as well while all the guts are disassembled.

What am i missing? :ROFLMAO:

Sounds like your definitely covering all the bases. I assume your gonna hit IH 10 out of San Antonio? Fuel up at the Walmart in Ft Stockton as you head south from there.

Iโ€™m honored that a couple of my products made your hundred thousand mile birthday upgrade list! I hope you enjoy them!

Yessir - either the walmart or the Love's in Ft Stockton. I have the TSD fuel card and the 60 gal S&B tank so i just let the apps tell me who is cheapest when it's pump time. I'm thinking I should be ok and not actually need fuel while down in Terlingua, but just something I'm thinking thru.

Oy... I have a long list of things I'm aspiring to do, just depends on if I have the time and/or funds to pull it all off before that weekend. Here's what's on the list:

- Service front diff, rear diff, transfer case, and replace transmission pan with SPE pan and new transmission filter.
-- Hoping the PPE sterling differential cover will be released soon so I can do that swap at the same time. It was anticipated for October, but date could have slid to later in the year.
- Install Carli front diff guard and lower steering stabilizer
- Install Builtright panel behind rear passenger seat - relocate Weboost base to passenger side and mount blackvue back-up battery to panel
- Install Midland GMRS ratio
- Install Swarfworks mounting point for SwitchPro
- Install SwitchPro sp9100
- Install Baja Designs XL80 + S1 ditch light combo
- Install Baja Designs OnX6 Arc 40" lightbar
- Install Motohorn train horns

That's awesome about the KO3s... I just looked and it looks like next year they'll also make it in a 37" tire (37x12.50R18/F 128R) I've been debating which tires to get as the list of 37" tires for an 18" wheel is a pretty short list and am hopeful this tire will live up to expectations. Definitely would like to know what you think of the tires once you've had a chance to put some miles on them.

I forgot to add... Need to stock up on bourbon for the trip. Running low and gotta bring some good stuff to get @Lunchbox introduced to more than Crown Royal

You're lucky. Guess what I have to deal with? Which girl is gonna go and how long I'll have to sit in a hair and nail place ๐Ÿคฆ

For those interested in Golf at Blackjack Crossing golf course in Lajitas, TX during the meet up, we are two months out and you can make your tee-times. Best to make them early as the course gets a lot of visitors as one of the best courses in TX. I currently have a tee time of 0900 on the 18th and 0850 on the 19th. It is currently just my brother and I, so we have room for a pair to join if so inclined.

GOOD AFTERNOON EVERYONE! AS MENTIONED ABOVE, LESS THAN 2 MONTHS AWAY, ACTUALLY 57 DAYS. AS A REMINDER ALL CABINS ARE SPOKEN FOR, A FEW RV SPOTS, AND PLENTY OF โ›บ๏ธ SPOTS ARE LEFT.
