2023 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build dates from Ford...

I got the BS supply chain email as well. I had spoken to Ford Chat earlier in the week and was told that my order hasn’t been picked up yet.

It’s nice to see some trucks rolling in for you guys. Here is to more waiting. 🥃🍺

I'm with you minus the email. Ordered 11/4 lucky if it's here by August. Least I'll have a ton of money for immediate mods! Trying to spin it best I can!

Just got my Dear John email last night…last one I got was January 29.
7.3 Lariat Ultimate Tremor with pretty much every constraint option.
What is this chat people are talking about?…phone number??

Yup, I got the email too

Should just rip the bandaid off buy new tires for the raptor

Funny thing is i was getting so sick of not hearing anything about my truck that I went and looked at a new Raptor…my salesman talked me off the ledge (and the fact that these asshole dealers have 10k markups on anything cool).

Add me to the list but I received two email 3 hours apart lol. The first one explaining the delay due to supply shortages and a second one 3 hours later stating that my truck is built and they are preparing it for delivery to the dealership. Ford needs to get their communication efforts squared away.

I am still getting the supply chain email for a 22 I ordered in July 2021! Comes about every 3 months!

If they had changed them more I might have got another one. They arent all that much different than my 17. I had fun with it, but towing more lately, though the raptor towed fine with deavers. I just had an 18' aluminum v nose anyway. Id like to see what a godzilla with a whipple is all about now....

Ford chat got me a vin yesterday with supposedly a build date of 5/29. This was before the mass supply chain email.

Ordered 11/4
6.7HO
Lariat Ultimate
BAP
Pro Power
On-board scale
Moonroof

Here is a screenshot of the tracker and my dear John letter. I have no idea what the hell is going on. I contacted my dealer but it is after hours. I am waiting for their response. I wonder if there is a glitch in the matrix since a few of us that went into production recently received the same letters.

Maybe a glitch in the matrix. Or the Dear John is regarding your never officially canceled MY '22, which is what I suspect mine is about. My saga:

11 Mar 22 – MY’22 Order placed
14 Mar 22 – Order Confirmed
Several Dear John letters later…
11 Nov 22 – MY’23 Order placed
21 Mar 23 – Job 2 order update placed
13 Apr 23 – VIN issued
11 May 23 – Dear John letter, likely for the ’22 (still)
12 May 23 – Production scheduled for week of 29 May

The last two emails were 10 hours apart.

My Order:

2023 F350 Lariat Ultimate Tremor 6.7L HO
BAP | Winch | Pro Power | Rapid Heat | Block Heater
Iconic Silver | Baja

Ford should almost just give you a truck at this point for putting up with so much of their B.S.

Its been tough but I don't need it, just want it - especially now that towing season is rolling around again. The Ram does fine but here in the mountains it sure uses a lot of go juice and I run Sumo Springs when towing which sort of defeats the purpose of a PW.

Holding out hope Ford makes some of it right with a PCO on the rollover order.

I heard back from my dealer, apparently my truck has a primary status of in production and a secondary status of at the plant. I am wondering if Ford discovered an issue with super duties that is preventing some from being released hence the dear John letter.

Dealer called me the monrning (have a Lariat/Ultimate/Tremor on order as of late Nov 22 with an allocation that has yet to be scheduled for build). Rep advised that 6.7L HO are now in "balance Out" - his interpretation as a result that no more vehicles with 6.7L HOs will be scheduled for production this model year. I was tracking that as of last week, Ford was no longer taking orders for HO trucks; but this is the first I have heard that no further trucks with HOs (i.e. Tremors) would be built. Has anybody else with pending orders also been informed similarly?

Dealer suggested that if I wanted the Lariat Tremor to be built I should consider switching from the 6.7L HO to the standard 6.7. Didnt even know that was an option (isnt the HO the default engine for the Tremor package)?

Technically the 7.3 is the default engine. But the only other option is the HO. You can't get the Tremor package without one of those 2 engines. So you would have to take off the Tremor package and get standard 6.7

Saw my first '23 Tremor in the wild today. I'll have to admit the first thing I saw was the guppie step, second was the Tremor badge..

Still not cancelling my '23 order yet.
