2023 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build dates from Ford...

The 37s are going to be tight. Probably toss 37s on next week and see how she rubs.

Noticed a couple unique things compared to my 22' 7.3 and all other 7.3s I've driven before. This truck hit every gear 1-10 in normal more over the 100ish miles I have on it...never did the 1-3, 3-5. Also, when the brights are on and i take a turn the led fogs illuminate in the direction I'm turning. I don't recal my 22' lariat w/ leds doing that. These leds seem a little brighter or maybe better beam pattern in low and high than my 22' although both are super bright. This is a 3.73 stx with pretty much no other options.

Any thoughts on the fit and finish, ride quality, and turning radius? Does it do anything weird at idle (to possibly save the lifters from delaminating)?
Thanks!

Not sure why any of you Guys expect the fit/finish to be any better than the 22? Fords not gonna fix that, because we continue to buy the trucks. My 22 has a lot of fit/finish things that piss me off, ford didn’t magically fix this just cause a new model year started. You’re gonna have to look past it and just enjoy the truck. I have scratches in the interior plastic, I have poor door fitment, and I have runs at the corners of some of the body panels. Dirt in the paint also.

There was so much wrong in the first 60 seconds of that video (8 foot bed ❌ wrong , 60k mile power train warranty on a diesel❌ wrong, Super Crew❌ not a thing for Super Duty) that I wouldn’t trust anything he says.

IME most sales people are pretty much useless and not to be trusted.

I'll admit I have not gone over it with a fine tooth comb, nothing has stood out as cheap or poorly built yet. I have kept a close eye on the idle. I don't like a rough or lopey big cam type idle on a truck that's not supposed to have one. Idle has been nice and smooth. Maybe 700-900 on startup/initial high idle, dropping to 500-600 area once warmed up. There are zero rattles. The ride is firm but not jarring. No bumpsteer. I think it is good for a 4k payload and im currently running max cold pressure. I went over the grill and headlight area and that felt and looked solid. Better than I anticipated. The truck feels well built. Much better built than my 17' lariat. This is my 1st 360 camera truck and I noticed today the rear camera turns on in the direction I'm turning then turns off as I straighten up when towing. That's sweet but idk if that's a new feature or carry over.

Which model truck do You have?

F250 ccsb xl stx
Would you mind posting a photo of a left or right radius arm with the wheel turned showing
the offset difference from the 22's? Does Yours also have the HCT with the 11 6 rear axle?

Are you wanting to see how close the tire gets to the radius arm? I don't have the high capacity axle upgrade. I think that's a 11400 gvwr and my door sticker says 10500 gvwr. 7.3 gasser is what I have too.

One of the posts here stated that the radius arm bracket on the frame was different and the radius arm had an offset not flat like the 22-earlier trucks. As far as the rear axle,Your's should either be a Sterling or M275.....not really sure with the 10,500.

Ok. I'll go take some pics here in a bit of the radius arms. I'll look at the rear axle too.

Thanks..........just curious.
I don't know what the 22' and previous radius arms looked like but there's an obvious indention or taper to these where the tire turns into. In the pics with the tires turned in they are turned to full lock by my 7yr old then he let go of the wheel and the tire moved back out about a half inch that what these pics are. Around 2" clearance. I'm glad you asked because I've got some 37x12.50 sitting in the garage going on stock wheels and they might clear the r.a. the pics with the stickers and cast stamp are of the rear axle. I didn't see any other markings.

Thanks for taking the time.It looks like the turning radius has been improved with the indent Radius Arms. They should have done that years ago.Our F-450 has a Widetrack 60 that is approx 4" wider and the coil spring bracket mount inboard on the tubes and not attached to the C.

No prob!

Let us know on the 37s and rubbing. This is on a tremor right?
Will do. Supposed to go on yesterday but a suspension company might be using my truck for some R&D so it'll probably be several weeks until they go on.

Great detailed pictures, thanks for posting those. I'm curious about 37s too. It looks like the STX. It doesn't have the tremor wheel/tire or shocks.
