FINALLY! After passing on my ‘23 order and moving it to a ‘24, the Mrs. let me go pick up my early Christmas present yesterday! ‘24 F350 Lariat Tremor HO, 40/20/40, 5th wheel prep, moonroof with all the bells and whistles. Opted out of the factory bed and had LineX Premium sprayed while at the dealer. The thing drives like a dream. Beyond excited! Wife said she doesn’t think I smiled that big on our wedding day. :ROFLMAO:🤷🏼‍♂️
Congrats!! What a great present! 🎁

all that was in the truck was the gooseneck ball and pucks for the OEM 5th wheel gear in the bed. No Pucks. Were they am option?

I am talking about the utility plates on the side walls of the bed, those are used for tie-down cleats that can be found in the link I posted above.

The 5th wheel prep only comes with the hitch prep in the bed floor, five caps covering the inserts, one center for the ball and four for the chain tie-downs. You don't receive the chain hooks or ball as part of the 5th wheel prep, that's an additional option/purchase. I would recommend the B&W kit over the factory ball/hook as it is.

Both B&W and Draw-Tite offer offset balls as well, a 4" and 5".

Those cleats apparently don't work with the new utility plates, from what I have heard. They work with the "t" style utility plates whereas the new plates look more like a "molle" panel.

Yea that’s what I gathered for the ‘24 trucks, it’s weird that they’d make a change for something without supporting it with accessories. But if someone wanted the older cleats they’d just need the plates from a ‘23 and back truck. I might swap mine out to the BuiltRight style plates and then I’d likely sell the plates and cleats.

Congrats!!!! - can you post a photo of the door sticker with your payload rating - interested to see what a 2024 F-350 loaded has for payload. Thx!

I did get a hard copy manual kit with my 2022 in December 2021 - but not sure what they are doing now. OP - enjoy the new truck!
They went from hard copy w/cover to hardcopy w/o cover to no hard copy... Slowly conditioning the buyer I guess 🤷‍♂️

I got the small hard cover manual, 24'
No kidding? When I say cover I'm talking about the black case thing they used to provide:

So that's coming with the 24's again along with a physical copy of the manual? Never would have guessed that :)

Too Late for me, I got the OEM Gooseneck pucks with the truck when I picked it up.

No, not the case... Just the book. And it's more of a cliffs notes type, not the full manual. Still a couple hundred pages but the online manual is like 400+ pages.

I've only ever used the manuals in my vehicles for the fuse box legend anyway😜

I downloaded the F350 2024 manual from my link above, it's 711 Pages !

Hera ya go 👍🏼
Thanks! I have a 2022 F-350 Tremor Lariat - with winch, sunroof and pretty much every option except steering assist - my payload is only 3,249 lbs. I have been noticing the loaded 23-24 F-350 having payloads 3,7xx lbs. +++ that would be nice as I am alway right on the edge when towing my 5th wheel - 3,9xx lbs. would give me a small cushion!

Enjoy the new rides!
