I understand owning multiple vehicles, but don't get some who own a Tremor and don't drive it for a week or two at a time. Not me for sure!
Well, I'm one of those people that can go a week or two without using my truck. It's certainly not that I don't want to, nor do I travel and have to let it sit. I'm constantly going out and doing something to it, just not taking it for trips all the time. I'm envious of people that get to drive their truck every day for a reason, but I don't have the need, so it sits. Why? I live in the foothills with rivers and mountains close by. My pastime is hiking, photography, and doing things river related. I can literally walk to a trailhead from my house. (Or drive about 2-10 miles for many others) I mainly use my truck for traversing "high vehicle clearance" trails and roads close to home or using it for sanctioned events in the mountains. (Running, equestrian, river rafting, etc.)
Forever truck:
I had my last truck 22 years and had around 200K on it when I sold it. I thought that was going to be my forever truck. As it turned out, my wife couldn't drive it since it was a clutch, her feet didn't reach the pedals and so didn't want to travel in it with me being the only one that could drive it. So, I bought the Tremor as my forever truck. Only 8K miles the first-year commuting and fun, about 4K per year since retirement.
I still grin when I get to drive it somewhere, what an awesome vehicle. We do plan on doing more things this coming year and on, more boating, camping, and kayaking, some travel, so it will get more use, just not a lot of miles. At the current rate, I would never get to 150K, with calculations, in 33.5 years I'll be dust.
