I've been following these on the F250 SuperDuty page on FB. glad to see it made it here too. From everything I can see it retains all the OEM functions just waiting to confirm RSC Heater.

something to do with the controls in the dash, a lot of the guys doing the Expedition center stack swap (for the climate temps on the knobs, and few more changes) have all lost rapid heat due to this. It's not the end all be all I just don't like giving up options.

That's a pretty cool mod, it really modernizes the center stack. I had to double check the Expedition's screen size as it looked bigger than 8".

yea it's the same 8" screen or whatever it is but it does add a few extra buttons and features. The other issue though is you get buttons that are dead as well, like rear hvac controls but you get the heated steering wheel button, screen off button, and something else IIRC.

I had a similar one (Linkswell) but sent it back because the Ford Pass app doesn't work with them. So no remote start, GPS tracking, auto lock un-lock and other functions. It was a no go for me. Other than that, I really liked it. In AZ I really like to be able to start the truck 15 before walking out movie theatre to cool it down when its 115 outside. Here is a short vid I did on mine.

While it doesn't get that hot here in Atlanta, GA, that would be an absolute deal breaker for me for similar reasons.

The linkswell isnt comparable really. It uses a 9 year old proccessor and android 9 which is buggy and slower. This unit retains sync and all the ford pass features as well.

Seems like a good investment of $1100+ if one is so inclined. I wish Ford could take some notes from BMW on interface systems.

I concur but as a previous BMW owner, paying for subscription services also stinks. Had to pay $300 to unlock Apple Carply/ Android Auto for fully licensed or I could've paid some rate monthly, 6mo, yearly, or two years if I remember correctly. However, the system in my wife's 2018 x6 was substantially better looking than our system (screen, layout, responsiveness, wireless AA/AC, and so forth).

My wife's 2021 X3M has a dial on the console that's used for the menus and selections on the screen. Along with a few buttons near the dial once you get the hang of how it functions with the screen and system it's butter on a hot biscuit. Either the driver or passenger can operate thru the menus pretty easily.

It looks like it adds Tablet like functionality to the onboard screen. So if you have a tablet or laptop when you travel this would just be a duplicate of what the table does.

I pulled the fuse for the exhaust valves, you open them manually, then pull the fuse, then they get locked open. better v8 noises all the time now!

I dont see why it wouldnt other than it's android vs ipad. I bet you could sync you OneNote or equivalent to it with a BT keyboard and be able to use it when you stop for work functions. I'd be curious to see it function with Teams.

I have it connected to my Ford Wifi, it can download and use anything from the PlayStore. I check email, browse the internet and have used zoom. It just doesnt have a camera.
