A secret locale out West…
The second pic is somewhat well known but the four times I’ve been there I’ve never seen a soul!

The first pic is close to the second. It’s an old mine and was NOT an easy drive. I spent a good 30 minutes to go 2 miles cause I was constantly out of my Mjölnir with my polesaw trimming. The last few hundred yards were some real wheeling with one switchback being a bit scary. I used the ol’ tap the brakes trick for traction control when I thought I was going over the edge. Sure didn’t worry about anyone showing up at my campsite! How those miners got their equipment ip that road boggles the mind. They must have had a tracked rig but no way could it have towed a trailer up those switchbacks. Of course the road was probably in much better shape BITD.

Went to an off road park and scuffed her up a little bit. I didn’t do anything too crazy! Basically just went up and down steep uneven terrain. I did get a little 3 wheel motion action a couple of times. Some of the inclines/declines were between 20-25 degrees. I was in 4H “Slippery” mode the whole time with 60F 80R PSI in the tires. I might have spun the tires once. It was mostly loose sand and dirt and rocks. She just crept right over everything. I did put it into 4L and “Rock Crawl” mode just to see what it’s like. It definitely crawls 😆. I wasn’t brave enough to test it on the rock obstacles though. 😳 Scuffed the fuel tank armor and the bottom of the hitch. 😢 I also have a bunch of thorns in my tires now that I’m scared to pull out.
Mesquite thorns? They SUCK! lol

The first picture is a truck of the month entry!
All are good, but I am partial to the second... I love that it shows the articulation between front and rear a bit better!

If not for that damn Ram spoiling the shot… 😂
Someone with a Google Pixel 6/7 can use the magic eraser and get that out of there for you...

@Former Lurker you should have some time available now that you and I have freed up our schedule... ;)

What tires & wheels are you running? I'm going to be doing a leveling kit soon to get ready to put 37s on when my Duratracs wear out.

Method NV HD 18x9 +18
Nitto Ridge Grappler 37x12.5

Thanks, I didn’t see them. I have the bags that are mounted next to the springs and not on them.
