I got the safe in mine and love it. The light is not very bright in there so I picked up a battery light switch from harbor freight and used Velcro.

How do you like the safe?

Had the truck for 8 hours haven't done much with it yet but it will work great for me I go camping and play ice hockey. I always carry my sidearm so when I go to the rink I can lock it in there along with my wallet ( you don't need either when your playing ice hockey). It seems secure enough yet easy to get into . its large area so I can fit extra ammo or other accessories
for Camping I can keep an extra pistol or more ammo or cash in there.

I ordered it with mine. I know anyone can get them after but I like that it is factory. I know without it, I would eventually have too much crap end up in that console.

Don't you mean 2 tons? Payload on the 350 is about 4k? At 12oz of Corona, roughly 2667 bottles of beer to last through this crap.

I got it, but not going to lie i was kind of bummed that it took the whole console away, i thought it would have been built under the console more, to where there was at least some center console space aside from the safe contents itself.

Ouch, I didn't know it took that much room. I ordered one with mine and delivery date is May 7 (maybe). I assumed that since the center console "Black Hole" is so deep they would only use the bottom half. Oh well, won't lose as many sunglasses.
Does the safe floor still have the recess for key fob resets etc?

Ya they def could of did something better with it! But it's not bad once your used to not having anything there.. Key fob reset/holder is below the left side of cup holders.
