Hi,

Don't hate me. Love my Tremor, but I got my eye on a Ram TRX...

I've only had my Tremor for about 5-6 months and out of curiosity, I posted it for sale. I was waiting to be low-balled. The response rate from dealers willing to purchase this truck at the original MSRP is nuts. I literally had 8 call me and working with 3 of them now. I paid approximately 3k under the MSRP for the truck. Granted I put on 37s and new wheels, but I got that back when I sold the original wheels/tires.

This is a crazy market for these trucks! I hope I don't get sellers remorse. :censored:

Honestly doesn't surprise me. Around here dealer lots are empty. The local store in Greenfield has no super duties in stock and 3-4 150s as of yesterday. Bigger dealers have a few but they are all basic fleet type trucks.

The TRX is a dramatically different truck. If you are ok with the drastically lower towing and payload capacity, then go for it. It will be a lot better at anything off road than the Tremor, while being a significantly better ride around town.

But be prepared for a very low payload capacity (somewhere around 1000 pounds).

There's a local dealer that doesn't apply any type of dealer mark-ups They are charging MSRP for the TRXs.
But, there are plenty of dealers charging $20k+ over MSRP.

They have a black TRX that should be coming in within the next few weeks. It's nicely equipped, just shy of 90k.

My understanding is it's similar to the difference of a Tremor vs. the Raptor. The TRX is Dodge's direct competition to the Raptor. So a smoother ride around town and much more equipped for off-roading but you wont be towing much with it so if that's a factor, I would look into it a bit more.

Low mileage, late model trucks that aren't beat to death are in really high demand right now all over the place. "Special" prod trucks are even tougher to find.

I traded my 2017 SD in Dec for $4500 less than I bought it for new. I drove it for 4.5 years with no plans to upgrade until I got that dealer offer. They sold it a day later for $2K less than original MSRP. It had a bunch of aftermarket stuff on it but still........crazy.

That is really interesting. What site did you use to post your truck for sale? Im considering selling my Tremor so I can upgrade to a F350 dually. Time isnt a big factor so I could eat 6 mo to a year waiting for replacement availability.
I have a 2021 Lariat Ultimate Sport Tremor 6.7 4x4 in antimatter purchased Jan 21. I frikkin love it, but would seriously consider selling if I could get out even.

I just got some numbers from my guy. Trade in wasn't even close to MSRP. Bigger deal still, was that I had to trade in the day I special ordered a new one (12 weeks out) and then the new one would be priced at STICKER! OUCH!

Yep! Exactly. TRX is a direct competitor to the Raptor.

I would take the TRX or Raptor over the Tremor any day of the week if I didn’t have towing or hauling needs (including hauling people; expect to be maxed out with 5 guys, no gear, in either one).

But I do, so the compromises with the Tremor are easily worth it.

Man, that's crazy. I didn't even have to negotiate hard. They offered me a price and we went back and forth for a little. My sticker was $86,XXX and some change. I got $86,500.

That’s blind theft. Hard hell no on that. They are saying your trucks worth nothing but ours is. Screw that!
