Best Wiper Blade Replacements

Huh, ok might have to try those out whenever Shadowfax is due for new wipers. Having three rapid-fire recommendations like that is pretty awesome.

Reason I got them, the guys I know who work in the North Dakota oil fields swear by them, say they are the best wipers for a North Dakota winter

Personally, I’m looking around at heated wipers & wondering if they actually work lol

One trip threw the Florida Everglades during Love Bug season puts a quick end to a set of blades.. Add our summer heat and our daily dose of rain, Wiper Blades are a yearly investment. While I agree, Piaa blades work well, they're not easy to find. Advance and AutoZone carry Bosch. I still remember bitching about the $66.00
they cost .. because I remember they were once $9.00. Just stupid expensive .. Bitch, Bitch, Bitch ..!!

Must be the angle of windshield
The angle is the same between F150 and SD. Identical cab structure from A to C pillar.

It may be the airflow over the "nose" of the vehicle creates a different impact point on the windshield, though. Front end, hood are quite different so even with a common cab I would not assume common aerodynamics.

I was talking about my old F150 which used a different cab than the current Super Duty. 2013 vintage.

Have you changed your wiper blades yet?

Have 10 months on factory ones was planning on ordering Trico Ice but after seeing so many recommendations for Bosch Icon might go that way

I haven't! Though was thinking about that the other day when the factory blades were leaving streaks. Will go for Bosch Icon given the recommendations here...though on their site they state the blades aren't compatible with our trucks.

I went with Bosch Icons, recently, on a road trip with pouring rain, since my factory ones were garbage from day one. Should've replaced them sooner.
Like I say, Bosch's website says the Icons aren't compatible with our trucks, but I take it you installed them without issue?

Website shows as compatible for me. 22A for both sides, as 22B stock has dried up and I believe discontinued.

Sweet, thanks! Will order a couple of 22A's then! Weird that the site is working for you.

FWIW, their flyer explains the likely reason for the lack of B skus (emphasis added):

Windshield curvatures and aerodynamics have become increasingly complex over the years. Wiper blades need to bridge the contact gap between the wiping edge and the windshield for maximum wiping performance.

Bosch ICON™ addresses this need with DynamicFit™ technology — exclusive tension spring arcing technology which adapts to the entire curve of the windshield. The flexibility of ICON™ beam blades allow them to properly hug the windshield no matter the curve of the driver and passenger sides.

An additional program benefit is the consolidated SKU count which reduces most of the “B” part numbers making blade selection easier for you and your customers.

That's correct! :D

For F150s and our Super Duties, they were always listed as 22A for driver and 22B for passenger.
Gotcha! Ordered a pair from O'Reilly's for in-store pickup. Will go get them tomorrow, and can drop off the used oil from my last oil change at the same time.

My stock ones are still going strong. Maybe you got a bum set, mine are fine. I will replace with Bosch when it comes time though!

My stock wipers are great, still working perfectly. When they were out, I’ll go trico, I’ve had good luck with them.

I prefer the PIAA's myself

Bosch Icon wiper blades picked up and installed today! As expected (they are wiper blades, after all) install was easy. Now to see how they work over time, particularly this winter.

Hope they work out for you. I just had the wiper recall done; looks like they replaced the blades. When the season's done, I will likely get the Bosch. I had those on my 99, they lasted two seasons. Funny, the heat and UV is what kills them out west. I think I used mine maybe 4- or 5-times during actual rain, in a year.
