Have any of you received the letter without the app notifying you? I don't see anything on my app and plan to tint the front next week. Il hold off if I have to do this. Mine is a 21 made on dec 8 of 2020 out of the Kentucky plant which would fall under this.

My recall appt was cancelled.
Dealer service guy called me the day before and told me that when they take the windshield out, 90% of the time they crack and they end up having to replace anyway, but the OEM windshield is backordered and they don't know when more are coming in.
Ford really needs to get its shit together.

I've yet to receive a letter and found out through the dealer two days before it showed up in my app. Once the recall was satisfied, the app updated immediately saying it was satisfied.

I received both a letter and a notice in the ford app about the windshield. I have a 2021 built in late November. My plans were to wait as long as possible to replace in case I got a nick or crack, however when my truck was in for a 'deep sleep' issue, they said they could correct without breaking the old windshield. The truck was already there so I agreed and when I picked it up it still had the Kentucky Plant/UAW sticker on it as well as a drop of pine sap I've been needing to clean off (i.e. original windshield). They said not to wash it for 24 hours and I drove it home and didn't notice anything odd like wind noise. The app still lists a recall, but the service advisor mentioned it could take a day or two to clear.
pretty ridiculous that they didn't clean the windshield for you. Talk about doing the bare minimum.

I did finally receive a letter, but it was about a week after my windshield was fixed. The acknowledgement in my app occurred pretty much immediately. The shop that did the work for the dealer did a great job....

I made an appointment with the dealer for about three weeks from now. I could have had it done immediately but the service rep said he hadn’t seen this recall yet and hadn’t processed any yet. Then he talked to his coworker and they had just checked one in that morning. So I wanted to give them time to do a few before they mess with mine. ?
My build date is 2/4/21. Look how crappy my install looks from the factory. I’m assuming my truck was built right around the time they found the problem and “fixed “ it. My kids could do a cleaner job
