I was lucky enough that Shooting and hunting were just part of life. Got my first Marlin .22 model 60 when I was 5. Hunting rifles and your morning kill in the bed of the truck in the school parking lot was the normal. A lot kids these days will never know, that’s how we got food! We were poor ass farmers, lol! Got to spend 24 years serving this great country hunting 2 legged vermin, now blessed with continuing to train the warriors of today and tomorrow! Don’t get to hunt as much as I use to, but that will change once we get out of SoCal. Married a veggy eater, but she supports my habit! Cali gun laws are insane, so I keep most everything at my folks house back in the Midwest, with the exception of a few necessities. Good looking guns guys! Stay frosty! Would love to do some Vermont deer hunting, and get maple syrup!!!

I had a safe full of fun things but we had a boating accident and everything was lost. Such a tragic event but alas the wife survived so I guess that is good, right? :)

I’m going to be adding a suppressor to my beretta 9mm. It came with a threaded barrel, so I figured what the heck. Any recommendations? I’ll probably use silencer central or silencer dot com.

If y’all can find one look for the octane 45 , I use one across my 45’s and 9’s including MP5’s , you just need to get the correct thread adapters for whatever barrel , it gets used a lot - thunder beast all bolt guns and a KAC QD on the SR25/AR10 platforms

Thanks! I’ll take a peak at what I can find. I know it’s impossible to find anything lately. The beretta came with a threaded barrel - I still will need an adapter? Seems a little redundant.

Silencershop.

And I'm partial to the Rugged Obsidian 45. I may be biased I have 2 (45 and 9).

Iirc the Berettas are fixed barrels, so you'd want a fixed barrel spacer (basically a precision tube that replaces the can's recoil booster spring).

Great! Thanks for the information! I am a bit of a newb when it comes to the whole suppression game.

Move to Commiefornia and you can become a felon by getting one! Three hots and a cot! What's not to like?

I have a Obsidian .45 and just switch out pistons & front end cap & use it on both 9mm and 45

That being said, my Dead Air cans are in my opinion better quality and performance.

Wish I had gotten a Ghost-M instead, oh well live and learn

Dead air is great too, but for the pistol cans I like the Rugged. I have a mask and sandman in the safe and nomad pending and want to add a primal as the next stamp.
