🛠️ What did you do to your Tremor today? [2026 edition]

Time for an oil change. I have a 500 mile road trip this weekend then a 3000 mile trip at the beginning of Dec. So, might as well get it done a little early. This is the first oil change since installing the Juggernaut skid plate. Let's see how it goes...

Turn off valve and switch containers. About 2 drops on the floor when moving the drain tube. Everything going well. There is even a good song on the radio going. Zen state achieved...

Well crap! Oil draining out from the rear of the skid plate onto the floor! The oil filter cutout on the Juggernaut skid plate is not quite big enough. Oil had been dripping onto the skid plate from the inner part of the flange of the oil filter mount 🤬🤬🤬. Zen state ruined.

The floor is easy to clean. The inside of the skid plate is a mess. A sludge of oil mixed in with the red dirt from Moab took 1 1/2 cans of brake cleaner and a roll of paper towels to marginally clean up. There is still some buildup in there that I can't get my arm to reach. I'm leaving early in the morning. So, I'll pull the skid plate off for a thorough cleaning after I get back.

For the next oil change, I might drive the LF tire into a wood block to get the truck to lean to the right. Then maybe the oil filter flange won't drop onto the skid plate. If the cutout was 1" deeper, this would not have happened.

Filling the beast back up with Rotella T6 sourced from a secret supplier during this time of shortage. I kept it locked in a safe until today.

@Legmar reverse light brackets installed with Baja S2 Sports. Super impressed with everything. Impatiently waiting for the sun to go down to go take a pic with them on
Awww I love it!! 🤩
