My own solution was 50 cents worth of silicone and so far it has held up to all heavy downpours we had around here.

And yes i used black caulk, on my otherwise star white truck

Or even a rubber well nut inserted in a hole on the part, then a wafer head cap screw from the top.

Thanks for the ideas! Looking into these options now. I didn’t like the fit of the lynch pins once I got them and installed.

Some of you guys are pure genius...kinda brings a tear to an old Boomer's eye knowing the era of baling wire and duct tape with a bucket of monkey shit repairs are fading away.

Bambu Lab, hands down. Closest you'll get to appliance-level ease of use without sacrificing functionality.

The link below might help, but I'd start with at least a P2S. Spend more on an H2S or H2D if you plan to do larger functional parts or higher temp materials - they both have a heated chamber to help reduce warping. H2D is dual-nozzle which allows for some cool stuff like water-soluble support material and multi-material or multi-color prints without a bunch of filament swaps.

If I had to pick one for you that you wouldn't outgrow in a year, it would be the H2S. If you want one and done, H2D. If you want something cheap to play with and test your interest, P2S.

I would agree here. Love my Bambu printer. I started with P2S when they came out then proceeded to sell it when the X2D came out. Its essentially a P2S but has the 2nd nozzle for support material (or a slower 2nd color) with less waste and has a chamber heater (Huge for ABS / ASA / Nylons / etc). Only $100 more. Currently have the AMS 2 Pro and an AMS HT hooked up with the tracker switch.

H2D has double the build volume but also double the price. But has true dual nozzles.

So the part didn't match the box. The part number on the box was correct...but...the part was for a F150.

Found the actual part but...it's not available yet.

I'm back in for a 3D printed version.
