I like Packwood but I'm there all winter for skiing with the family.

Leavenworth in May or June would be pretty sweet, easy sell for the wife and kiddo. Good food and brewery options. There is a good KOA there with cabin rentals, regular camping, and RV camping options. It's more central for our eastern WA folks, it has a great pump track for mountain bikes. Fires usually don't get cooking until July & August.

No, we keep our camper down in Packwood, but I'm there every weekend. Got a grey beard and all blue outfit, grey/brown helmet. Say hi, maybe grab a beer at High Camp or the main lodge.

That weekend is my bday weekend, we usually head up to the San Juans to do some lingcod fishing, but a campout could be fun too. Currently I said "maybe" attending but I'm more like 75% likely attending.

All black white helmet. And this big Lucious beard, all black white helmet red Oakley goggles and on snowboard. I won’t have the kiddo with me this weekend but he is usually with me. so I will be checking in for beers at anywhere they serve them Yurt included.
