Whatever you do, don’t slam on your brakes. Had that happen to me. I was following a woman speeding in the left lane on I49. Only 5 or so mph. I didn’t care, not a traffic cop. You had to really be speeding or driving dangerous for me to stop you. She glances in her rear view, panics and SLAMMED the brakes. Good thing I wasn’t tailgating. I stopped her and instructed her properly and politely and let her go with a lesson and a warning.

Meanwhile I swear that cops around here are only looking for speeders. They need to enforce the left lane law. Then they might not have as many problems with "speed related accidents". On the interstate anyway. I wish i could get a cop to sit in my neighborhood and catch these psychos who do 30+ in the 1/4 mile circle neighborhood I live in

Call the Sheriff. Sheriffs get things done. They are elected and not protected by civil service.

Do the updates mess with any tunning files we have loaded in?

Asking for a friend.

I'd suspect specific PCM/TCM updates can have some issues, but then others report just go back to your EZL loading profile.

For any other module, just get it done short of any known update issues.

OMG….. the left lane turtles. Here, the princess lanes (toll lanes) are 70 mph. Everyone does 80. Hell, I do 80 and get passed by the police! Then there is the one dolt in a self driving Tesla doing 69.99 mph in the left lane!

Right?

Take me, for example -

I cruise at 70 MPH, and all the way over to the right. I stay out of the way. (I'll adjust my speed to aid slightly slower-than-the-flow truckers to facilitate their pass on me). I care.

[FWIW since some of our esteemed colleagues have posted their track time experiences, I am a retired commercial driver. I made a living driving everything from 18-wheelers to forklift trucks. I have a few years of hobby time closed-course performance car "high speed driver education" (drivers wearing helmets, using proper restraints, cars must pass tech inspection and carry a mounted fire extinguisher). I have also schooled while wearing Nomex, driving tube-chassis race cars on ovals and a road course. I am no stranger to four-wheel-vehicle dynamics at speed.]

Here's the bigger problem....for two lanes those that decide to speed up when you are passing them. Hence I'm doing 75 to pass left lane, they speed up causing me to not be able to get back over to the right lane.
Then you got the REAL a$$hole driver's speeding up the left lane where there is a on ramp merging onto the roadway.....right lane people get over to allow the merge, the a$$holes doing 85+ in the left lane get ALL KINDS of road rage, swerve over to the right lane.....ONLY to be forced to slow down to below posted speed due to the merging traffic.

Then you have the whole three lane HWYs ......it's only twice as fun as the above.

I'm defiantly not a saint on the roadway, as I surely see both sides of the issue played out daily. Stop complaining. Stay frosty.

If you did you would be like "This is TOO easy.".
It's one of those things you feel like it's WAY TOO easy, it should be more complex, and ask am I getting my money's worth. Then you drive the truck.......OH.....OHHHHH.......there it is.
