The test brackets are supposed to be en route to them now; so yes, if they can confirm the fitment then they should be able to take orders soon.

I'm stoked - quality, skid plates, good mounting points for lights, ample winch area, built in fogs and signals, textured step, etc, that is precisely what I was looking for. Plus it looks purposeful, not over the top. Thanks for posting the photo, since I'd probably not have come across that bumper otherwise.

Im glad you dig the bumper. We are biased but we think its pretty darn great looking on these Alumiduties. Really didn't want to look like a rancher for a USFS ranger. (No offense to ranchers or rangers lol.)

And the Supertramp is finally home!!!

For anyone who is data driven, in addition to before and after weights and measurements I also recorded Trip 1 as my initial drive to CO without the camper onboard and Trip 2 was the long way home with the camper mounted. Results are as follows.

Trip 1 was 1655.9 miles with an Avg MPG of 11.3. This was basically I-90 to I-70 right into Golden.

Trip 2 was 2809.9 miles and it was down from Golden Into New Mexico and than I-40 all the way across the lower part of the country, than weaving back up to 81 in Virginia and taking 81 back to NY. This was 10.7 MPG.

Please keep in mind I’m running 37’s and the truck is not corrected for those so I actually went a bit farther and got a bit better MPG than what shows. TBH I was shocked just how close the mileage was with the camper installed to an empty truck. Considering all the hills in TN and NC I’d almost say it was a wash. Certainly much closer than I ever would have guessed.

My DTE at my final fill up was 362 miles and I topped it off with non-ethanol and put in a few OZ’s of Stabil because the truck will be parked now for winter. Wasn’t a flake of snow or a drop of water on the roads today but I’m still going to power wash the underside of the truck tomorrow and wash the entire thing. I built up a lot of road grime in 4500 miles. Truck is also at almost exactly 5000miles so I’ll change the oil before it goes into hibernation.

Hahaha. Thanks. I love it. When I was shopping for a house I told my agent specifically I wanted a small house, big garage and property. Ended up with 1200 sqft of garage and 1200 sqft house with 10 acres. Just about perfect. The floors in the garage are radiant in floor heat too. Makes it pretty nice. Fits our lifestyle well.

Yeah, I need something like that. I am hoping to scout a few locations for land with or without house when I start traveling full-time. Considering buying just land and then build an off-grid house and shop/garage on it a few years later.

So, what's the first few things you are doing to your STC?

So I ordered 17mm Maxtrax pins and locks already tonight so I can mount up my Trax.

Going to order an organizer for the drawer, and some storage solutions for the cabinets and benches.

Probably going to get a bunch of the right size packing cubes for under the bed.

We already added a 3” topper to the mattress and got a few pillows for it. Oh and we got a USB rechargeable shark dust buster, man is that handy!!!!!

Gotta take some measurements but probably add the forth step to my stairs as well.

I have a Wrappon Greem toilet from my last camper I’ve got to try that out to see of it fits. Might have to do a shower floor like you did as well.

Going to take some measurements and find a table that will fit in the long pull out drawer too. A big outside table is always one of the first things we set up at camp and we have really been missing that since selling the AluCab.

Supertramp sent me an alert about the way they mounted the Starlink… so when they make that update I’ll probably swap that around too.

I’ve got all winter to tinker and organize now, truck needs the GMRS installed as well as the air compressor system. Also it at least needs some lighting. Driving around in the dark looking for camp spots even when the LED’s was severely lacking.

Oh. Trash tube too, I’ve got a real good idea for that. Basically I’m just going to order things… hahaha.

I Iike your style. Trying to decide on radiant heat for our next shop floor (whenever that is) versus a massive wood stove... Might do both?

Well, so where I live anyway, you can’t have a “solid” fuel stove in a shop/ garage. And if you ignored that rule and did it anyways, which I get if you had a problem your insurance company wouldn’t be thrilled. Problem with any garage is gas vapors from vehicles or small engines collect low and any open flame, wood stove or otherwise is an ignition source. Not saying this is valid or not, but obviously if you had a small gas leak and a wood stove you’d probably have a bad day…. Options up here are in floor heat or unit heater mounted up high by the ceiling. Good luck!!

I have my Front Runner camping chairs, my Dometic/Cadac 2 Cook 3 Pro, and a tripod in my drawer. There is still a decent amount of room left though . The topper and pillows - do you have enough clearance over the bed? I have the AC and it is tight for sure. I just ordered some different boxes that are shaped in a way that I can have them on the bed flush with the wall even when the fabric comes down. Will test that when I have my camper back from the shop.

I wonder if you can lower the Wrappon Green toilet legs and if it would fit into the toilet compartment. I think Kelsey at one point said one of the Wrappon toilets fits, but all my measurements say otherwise.

I can tell you 100% that the Wrappon Green toilet will NOT fit in the Supertramp...

I measured the opening to the shower pan to be 16.5" wide and 18" long (shorter side) and 22.5" long (longer side) my Wrappon Green is 17.3" Wide and 18.1" long. without cutting the lip of the shower pan it just won't fit inside.

Sadly I am selling my Wrappon Green at a pretty substantial loss since it won't fit in any of the storage cabinets either.

The new Wrappon WT-4 is 15.8" wide and 18.6" So I believe it will fit pretty easily and I will be ordering one of these before the next camping season. It's obscenely expensive for an emergency only use toilet but after owning one it is just so much better than anything else on the market. It wouldn't be an option for everyday use due to cost and it's not exactly environmentally friendly but as an emergency use item it's priceless.

I ended up putting 2 of the Helinox chairs, a Helinox table, my Partner Steel 22" stove as well as a collapsing basin in the drawer, I would like to get a table (like the snowpeak in there) I just haven't had time to measure and order yet. My Frontrunner chairs (at least in the two chair case) don't quite fit in the drawer depth, so I might have to look at a different chair for that too.

I LOVE this camper so much, my house is a Barndo so I can walk out from the kitchen and visit it anytime, which I do... I may sleep in it one of these nights haha..

So with the 3" topper, a fitted sheet, a top sheet and a down comforter the top goes down with no issue at all, I have been pulling the pillow off and tossing them on the bench beforehand however, theres a few inches to spare but I didn't want to push it.

A Barndo is something I am considering building for when I am done with long-term travel. Very cool. Did you build it yourself?

I keep my Frontrunner chairs out of the bag and have them double-stacked. Don't really need the bag at that point. I was not aware of a new Wrappon toilet model, but that's Ok. For now, I am actually quite happy with the Trelino. I love especially that it is so lightweight. When I am out there alone, I find a nice spot outside near the camper and enjoy the views

Let me know when the Wrappon arrives and how it fits into the camper.

I was thinking of putting a Froli system below the mattress, but that was more out of concern about moisture and condensation. I have not had any condensation inside the camper yet, but I also have not camped in areas with higher humidity. A topper sounds appealing though. I bought a 12v heated blanket, but have been disappointed by it so far. I was planning to have that under the fitted sheet and warm up the bed 10-15 minutes before I go to bed..

We didn’t build it. The house we bought was built as a second home (summer home) up by Lake Ontario for a retired couple from Massachusetts. The wife got sick and they didn’t even quite get it finished. So we bought it almost new…. Still had plastic on the windows to be peeled off. We had to do a few finishing touches on it but it was 99%. TBH we absolutely love it. It fits our lifestyle perfectly.

Not sure when I’ll order the new Wrappon. I’ll keep an eye out for some sort of sale, optioned out with the 12V cable, bags, and powder it’s over $1800, for a toilet…. My old one was about $800 fully optioned.. idk what happened.

I’ll have to play around with the chairs more. I was afraid to take them out of the case and have them scratch my drawer all up…. It’s just a camper…. But i still want to take care of it.

Haven’t tried an electric blanket in the camper yet but i did tell my wife we should get one. Idk enough about them to have an opinion yet.

Follow up:

So we had one night with BAD condensation under the mattress. It was in…. Ugh…. Oklahoma I think. Really nice pay to camp campground that was beautiful, level, and clean.

We went to bed with all the windows and vent closed/ off and it was about 36 degrees and completely fogged in when we woke up. Probably 99% humidity and cold, camper was of course warm and heated.

We noticed a very small line of condensation along the edge of the roof and a lot on the windows (behind the thermal part on the clear windows themselves).

Pretty wet under the bed. We stripped down the bedding and flipped the mattress to let it dry. I can 100% see the use of a Froli in this case. No other nights even those well below freezing were wet at all. Although after that night i began keeping the vent fan running on low to remove moisture.

I never had condensation in my van but I think these cab over campers are a different story. I put Froli in mine and am looking forward to sleeping on this bed. It feels pretty comfy in my work shop and I bet even more so after a long day playing in Baja or wherever!

All right! So if my $459 folding hitch step wasn’t expensive enough, how about another $189 for a 4th top step?

After getting the ST installed we found the extreme height of the Tremor on 37’s caused us to set the Easy Hitch Step at its lowest setting to make the first step doable…. Because the ST has a basement (huge sliding drawer) this made the last step way too long. The solution? Well Easy Hitch Step makes a bolt on 4th step that bolts right up with the others and happens to land just below the door/ drawer but allows us to get into the camper with a normal final step.

So for $650 I now have the ideal steps for my camper. Joking aside it’s a shit ton of money but, compared to what I have into the camper and truck it’s barely a blip. It is absolutely 100% worth it. It’s the perfect solution and my wife loves it. It makes the camper much more accessible and honestly safer getting in and out. It optional because most people wouldn’t need the massive height that these all afford. It also doesn’t affect clearance whatsoever and the hitch folds out of the way just like it always did. Complete non issue.

The steps now are at the following heights.

1st Step- 15.5”
2nd Step- 23”
3rd Step- 30.5”
4th Step- 38”
Camper floor- 47.5”

Basically beside the first step the rest are mostly normal step height 8-ish inches. I wasn’t being real exact with my measurements but you get the idea.
