I’ve been looking into this product myself what is your opinion of it? My concern was cutting into the factory wire harness to disable the system could affect the warranty and or those wires could corrode if under the hood. How professional was your installer would you recommend and or do it again? This to me seems like a very effective way to Deter theft however it may take them some time to discover that the vehicle is disabled by then it seems to me that they could have done quite a bit of damage. Either way I guess the vehicle won’t be leaving the driveway.

I very happy with the product, the install was very professional, everything was heat shrinked and taped using the same tape ford uses. Can't even tell there are any modifications. It says it won't affect warranty but I doubt ford would cover something wiring harness related. The plug is different with each unit so I high doubt anyone could get the truck started with this. The only way for them to steal the truck is to tow it and I make it very difficult for that to happen.

I’m in South Florida I think you are too. Could you share with me the company name You selected? Also mind sharing with me what you spent?

If you find them, kindly let us know where to find the offenders. We can all get together and have a castration party.

All the info you need is on Ravelco.com
Damn that's awesome .... If I didn't live in the woods and work on a military base I may do it but .... I don't see a reason to get it right not but good to know about ....

Yes, if you take the adapter out it will not allow the remote start, leave the plug in and it will let you remote start.
Correct

Damn, sorry to hear about this.
I am checking with a buddy who installs stereos about installing LED bullet lights inside at each door so people can see you have an alarm. I asked if I should install a new alarm he told me no due to that I would loose the inside motion alarm when your windows are down and that aftermarket alarm company's are working on a add to our system. He is also looking into a ? siren to be added to our systems. I will keep you posted.

Update: went to my dealer and had other dealers confirm it is not possible to delete the factory door code, I would have to replace the body control module and I'm definitely not doing that. I also got a price for the door handles, they are $285 but I get a discount from my dealer since I cut the grass there. The lock cylinder is $100. I could install a passenger handle and delete the lock or put it back to stock and save 100 bucks and prevent theft. Let me know what you think.
I am taking to my installer about adding this to my truck. He is checking to see if it will work together with the factory system so I can keep the 360 security.

Everything works with this system, all it does is make it so the engine won't start. I built a sheild so they can't kill my horn. She's almost bullet proof against theft now.

They almost look like they would be lights but no light comes out. They are the sensors. When you turn your truck off see the display it will ask you for all or perimeter.
