Tremors Towing Things

I just finished my first “long tow” trip. Western Pennsylvania to central North Dakota and back with a trailer full of coolers, guns, ammo, gear, decoys and a gril. I figured the tow was way too easy on the way out, so we picked up a little livestock box to bring back home for a little extra weight.😂 I LOVE this 6.7 for towing. This baby hit 10th gear and rarely (basically never) down shifted after that. 15.0 mpg average for the full trip towing. For perspective, last year same trip and trailer (minus the box on the return trip) in my buddy’s 1500 Ram Hemi we averaged 8 something on the way out and about 9 on the return trip and it felt like we were dragging a parachute or an anchor the entire time. This is the first truck I have towed with that (no B.S) actually feels like it isn’t towing a trailer. Now I realize that I still wasn’t towing “heavy,” but I’m thoroughly impressed with the 6.7 and 10 speed combo. 🍻🥃🍺

Nope. Completely stock. About 2k pin weight.
The nose looks like it should be heavier than that with the wheels sitting so far back. Nice set-up!

it does exactly want I need it to do. Want to get a 5th wheel next spring looking at a keystone 364bhl 13k. I think the 7.3 can handle it.

Just returned from camping 700 mile round trip she did well at 60 , 70 and 75 mph towing around 7800 lbs. No problems when passing 18 wheelers.
