That’s awesome! Thanks for sharing with us. Glad that winch is earning its keep. We have a pto winch we use on the tractor. Always enjoy wood cutting videos/ pictures. Stay safeHere’s a video... After I complete the wedge cut I’m putting more tension on the line with the wireless remote to the winch. Can’t get in a hurry during the crux of the task. Sure is nice seeing the back cut upen up as the saw approaches the center of the tree.
I always wanted a dolmar but we never had dealers around here. I run mostly Stihl and jonsered but jonsered no longer around. My dad had to have my beloved 346xp so it’s his now. I’ve been trying to find a 7900You obviously know your saws. That’s been a damn good saw, runs real fast, and I’ve cut a lot of wood with it. Friggin gas cap broke in half when I went to re-fuel, hope I can find another one....
Couple of pics from after dinner. Not my operation, but a great back drop!
Be careful. I used to do that with a moving blanket and ended up with little dings where the fork hit
Yeah that's my wife! I was a little surprised when I saw the video too! She joked later about what some married couples do for excitement. ? How lucky can a guy get!!? We just celebrated 25 adventurous years! I got us a couple big gold nuggets to commemorate.Looks like my kind of weekend. Your camera person is brave!
I actually try not to run saws too much any more. But sometimes I've got to just 'get er done!' Right? My new favorite saw is a little Echo, single handed tree limber's saw. ? My how times have changed as I've grown older. I haven't even started my biggest saws for a few years now, and that's OK.I always wanted a dolmar but we never had dealers around here. Check out the bolt cutters too... An "accessibility" feature ?Hudson Bay Axe??
Awesome shot's! Once a Ford guy, always a Ford guy ?From Missouri to Colorado for the break in process!
Left with 100 miles on the clock!
Did Pikes Peak, several trails, Gold Camp Road, Phantom Canyon Road, etc.
I didn't have enough in me to go on Shelf Road, but it looked pretty! Going up Pikes Peak, we were in the middle of a line of race cars getting ready for the International Hill Climb the summit. Kind of neat to be in between Lamborghini's, Porsche's, Ferrari's and all the exotic cars.
Definitely made it a different experience. Never been to Colorado, so this was on my bucket list. Heading home in the morning. Broke the Tremor in right!
Never been a Ford guy.......but I LOVE this truck!
I am sooo happy I pulled the trigger on it!
