1st pull to the outer banks. 5 hour trip and she drove like a dream with a little over 15K behind her. Also met a couple other members at the camp ground. I will take some more pice today and post later.

Got back from our epic St Louis, Black Hills, Bozeman, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and back trip. Clocked 3500 miles, avg 8.6mpg in the 7.3. Was so amazing. Not the best pics but we were so in awe we forgot to get better pics. Will have to wait till next year for a shot at TOTM

Built a different camping setup for our Michigan to Moab/Page/Grand Canyon/Sedona trip.
Couple 2x6s, Etrack components, plywood and the mattress pad from our camper. Frame is held in by Boxlink. Softopper and a tailgate tent for shelter. We did this so we could be very agile about where we camped, didn’t book any sites, just stayed on the move for 2 weeks.
Not as comfortable as the camper but it was an awesome trip!

Today was a big day! Finally got to hitch up the Tremor to the new Reese Goosebox and tow it around a bit. Tested out the ultimate backup assist, shit works awesome! Not sure what all you naysayer clowns are on about. One of my airbags leaks bad at the threaded fitting. No response from Air Lift, so I ordered another bag from Amazon. Definitely need it, truck squats 2.5 inches without 'em. Took the whole shebang to the scales today, well within specs for truck and trailer, although only have about 670 lbs of remaining cargo capacity in the truck.

Thank you! No, I built them out of E-track hangers and 2x6. Just painted them black and added a few stickers from soft topper to give it a nice look

The trailer came with a MORryde cushioned 5th wheel pin box. eTrailer MORryde

I never got to tow this trailer with a 5th wheel hitch and the Tremor. I had a 2004 Super Duty that towed this trailer one time from the dealership to our campsite and it's been there ever since awaiting the Tremor's arrival. The 2004 was at absolute max (recommended) towing capacity with the trailer empty and was likely over on pin weight.

I didn't like the 5th wheel setup before, but not really for any towing reasons. I just couldn't stand the fact that I had to physically move a 200ish pound hunk of awkward steel any time I wanted to use the bed of my truck (which was often, maybe not any more with this princess). The Goose box eliminates that and the big hunk of steel just stays on the front of the trailer wherever I leave it. I'm left with a 20 pound ball from B&W that I can lift out by the handle and away I go! Slicker-n-snot!

That is my plan to remove the 5th wheel as soon as my trailer arrives and put on a Reese goosebox instead - like you don't want to give up my truck bed and its function. Our cargo capacity are very similar - thx for the feedback and information!

pretty nice! I was meaning to build something like that right of the bat, my brother has a similar setup in his 95 ford. Need to start planning it out again

Time for new tires, need y’all’s opinion on the best G, or H rated tire for a 5th wheel..size is 235/85R/16… local dealer has Hercules made by cooper, Goodyear doesn’t carry them in that size or load range…

I can only convey what I recently learned after screwing myself into having to buy another new set of 4 tires. Load rating doesn't matter. Load index does. The Duratrac's that come from the factory are E rated. The Ridge Grapplers I bought are F rated. Thought, "great, these are better than the stockers!" Not true. The load index on the Duratrac's are 129/126Q The load index on the Ridge Grapplers I'd purchased were load index 125. Keep this in mind when researching tires. Good luck!
