That’s a good point. 70’ is less than a single 18 wheeler.Just remember to get yourself some extra line. I used to carry two 100' cables in my Jeep when 4 wheeling. That was in addition to the tug strap and the tree saver. You'd be surprised how short 70' of line is.
How different are the 2017-2018 bumpers from the 2020? While pricing 12K lb Warn winches I. Are across this.
I don’t think I would care for the look of my bumper sticking out another 6” but some people might like the look. They have a finishing kit for it as well.
Combine it with something like this.
Swap out the steel cable, add a wireless kit and you have a $1000 less expensive alternative.
It's not the same winch.
Yes, you can order it "from the factory" through your dealer. It's not on the "price & build" system of Ford.com, but the dealer can order it. Scroll through to see how almost all of us who ordered the winch from the factory have had problems. The winch will actually come on a crate in the bed of your truck, then installed at the dealer, where the techs have little, if any, experience installing winches. If you go through the dealer, make sure all the mounting bolts are tight, and as soon as you get home, unwind the cable, and rewind it properly, under load.Has anyone ordered their truck with the Winch? I don't even see it available on fords site yet, but I've seen on a few places on the web that it's available now. My truck is already in production, so It's too late to add it, but Ill try to see if the dealer can order it and throw it in the deal.
Hoping to find a part number for it
