Try a paintless dent repair guy. They can work wonders.

Just looking at these aluminum skin and thin steel vehicles these days will put a dent in them, but @Phillbo gave great advice.

I’ve used a paintless dent repair (PDR) guy in my town on multiple vehicles. He can make dents disappear for reasonable money. Plus your truck won’t be out of commission for days.

I think PDR would work on both trucks. At least talk to your local PDR guy and see if they think it might work. Good luck!

You aren’t lying. Buddy’s older Super Duty, takes two hands to close and lower the tailgate, and the door when you close it, definitely can tell a difference

Yep .. We have a local PDR business that I've had a couple of repairs done for $100. or less. But they don't do paint work so thats why I went to the dealer. I assume the majority of the quote was for paint and clear coat.
