Yeah it isn't cheap... $6k on my son's Ranger after his deer encounter:

I think my buddy in college just took a trip to the junkyard and got his car sorted for a few hundred bucks...

This whole dear season I get to the lease after having so many almost moments and start thinking about bumper replacements, but get back home and think I really don’t know if I want to spend the money right now or if I like the look of a guard which adds fuller protection.

Just one deer hit repair probably pays for the bumper.

Anyone know how well something like the Fab Four pre-runner does on protection? I really don’t want a full blown guard…. Would be nice if someone mad one that you could remove the guard on and off

I hit one with a 2000 F150 doing 70 mph.

The antler dents in the hood were mostly covered by a bug deflector and something like a $300 take off grill from ebay fixed the rest of the noticeable damage.

Still sucks to see it happen.
