Super Duty 1 Cybertruck 0

In one of the article photos I laughed, as it looked like the Cybersuck is in a landfill surrounded by trash (small pic made it look) 😂

The Cybertruck is a lanfdill. You cant buy one of those thinking tha you can use it as for actual towing or payload capacity

RIDICULOUS!!!!!! No way a Superduty could ever catch a Cybertruck!!!!!!!!

Unless it was over like 250 miles in which case the Cybertruck would be stranded on the side of the road…

But if that Superduty had a Diesel it definitely could have a fuel pump failure in that same time!

Man I’m glad I have a gas truck 😉

Time to start a Ford lightning thread and see how much you can supe up yours 😉🤣🤣
Not a bad idea, only problem with EV’s isn’t there isn’t really anything you can just do to them to make them faster. Tesla sells a software upgrade for 2k that’s adds another 150hp, actually a pretty good deal. My Lightning is a 4 Second 0-60 full size truck which tbh is freaking ridiculous…. I’ve never even bothered to run it in Sport mode, always just ECO because it’s so fast lol.

2K upcharge to use all of the hardware you already bought is not a good deal. How about not software locking physical hardware that you already sold somebody. It's the same as when BMW tried to sell "subscription" heated seats.

Well than you don’t have to buy it. They way those motor work they can be a lot more powerful than they let them be as to not destroy parts. Think of it as $2k worth of warranty for all the parts you’re wearing the shit out of with an extra 2k. Personally I think if most people could pay $2k for 150 horsepower with the click of a button and a download covered by a full warranty they would. Of course if they didn’t want to, well than they won’t.

Ford does the same thing on the ranger raptor. $850 for 50 horsepower and 100 torque.

Fair point. I hadn't considered the warranty side since I blow through the mileage limits fast on them.

I think the bigger issue I have is the stories of people trading in the vehicle for another Tesla just for tesla to remove the upgrade and try to sell it to the next owner. Same for their FSD upgrades.

This should be interesting:

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - Las Vegas Metro Police will soon have the only fleet of Tesla Cybertrucks in the country, Sheriff Kevin McMahill revealed Tuesday.

They should put solar panels on them so the neons will charge them 24/7

Note: not made of steel, but "hard iron" whatever that is and secured using screws often used for furniture...

Wonder if you can add a winch to it. Maybe the one @Optimus has on his truck
