Stopped to look at 2021 tremor

I see this is in Concord, CA so not surprised. I'm in the Sacramento region and the dealers here do the same thing. My local dealer, where I bought my ordered Tremor from and got it for under invoice (invoice, not MSRP), does that on all but the most basic vehicles on their lot. I've asked them before and they've told me - why not. Some people will pay it and if they don't do it then it's like leaving $s on the table.

I told them I can see that logic but as an informed shopper I find it a huge turn-off and view them as greedy. The sales guy told me that most shoppers are not informed and will simply pay it. Now this discussion was before services like Costco and Truecar and even KBB were prevalent and even with a small amount of effort you can find the invoice or "true market value" of a car. But some people are just terrible with car purchases and abhor confrontation so they'll pay it. Ugh.
Hell in CA the dealers will be mark prices up by 10K - 20K and telling everyone "you better buy it now because these won't be available in CA in a couple of years and prices are only going to go up between now and then". And then a couple of years after that CA will double the price of fuel and then start making it impossible for "gas" stations to exist. What the hell are people in CA (and NY, NJ or anywhere that has a "new" in the name of the place) thinking when they put these kind of government officials in office?

Did you order it from the same dealer? Frankly if they have attitude like that I won't give them my biz. I also won't talk to a salesperson about price. I ask for the sales manager or floor manager to come out. There is nothing I hate more than the back and forth numbers on a piece of paper bull-shit. I don't have time for that. And that's if I'm actually there. Recently (last 2 years) I've just been doing all the negotiation over email. Send emails to 5+ local dealers with a printout of my build and my bottom line price for the truck and estimated OTD amount (they like to add bullshit fees). Wait for them to respond and go from there. Works great.
I have purchased all my vehicles, both new and used, online since 1995. Never had an issue.

Realize they're puppets, see UN's Agenda 2030. It's a ruse.
Yep a bunch of sound bites that on the surface sound noble but when you start working through these you realize that the people who developed these are either naïve, have not thought them trough as to their implications, or are in place for people who will blindly follow them in order to support the new world order whose sole objective is to further line their pockets.

there is a king ranch here in MD that is msrp at 92k and had a markup of 12k .... 104k after taxes and everything your at 110k for a truck .... what is the kelly blue book value ?
Someone will probably pay that $110k just for bragging rights. Go figure.....

It is still a sellers market. That's exactly why i was able to sell my 1 year old, 20k miles raptor at the price I bought it for and take the money to get my tremor. Not planning to do this again right now ;)
You're A Slick Bastard Patric. Im glad it all worked out for you. Still lovin it. How many miles have you put on it brother man.

Dam 92k ouch they’re just gouging people now I’ll have to look into that Kelley blue book

Most of the dealers in SoCal are adding the 5-10k markup. The dealer I bought mine from starts at MSRP and will negotiate as well as find program options to save you money. My son’s boss bought a F350 Platinum from them pretty much out the door for sticker price, then was looking at a 450 at another dealer that they had 10k markup on...he was straight up told that they do it because they have trucks in inventory and people will pay it. He didn’t!

I’m sure they don’t like forms like this where people can give each other a heads up on who’s got good prices and who’s ripping people off at least save a drive

Glad you smoked them out Cococounty. Rats like these should be exposed.
I wonder if Ford knows about this and if they even give a shit. SMH

Since taking ownership on 10/30, I'm at 1620 miles as of yesterday when I spend 2 hours tearing through Kettle Moraine State Forest and Richard Bong State Recreation area, both in southern/eastern Wisconsin. Great spots... Also it was pheasant hunting season so basically I was "driving for my life" thinking any of those folks would accidentally put a round in the wrong direction...
