Coming from a 24 Raptor I kind of miss the steering feel, aside from the obvious handling differences.
Is it possible adding a steering stabilizer will give me a firmer more positive feel to the steering?
Will the Tremor accept a steering stabilizer without modification?
Is there a better kit out there?

Unless they changed something for the 23+ model years, Tremors have a stabilizer from the factory. You are most likely noticing the difference in feel between and IFS and solid front axle suspension.

You can upgrade the existing stabilizer to Bilstein, Fox, etc if you want to go that route.

there is a stock stabilizer but it is week. I installed the fox ats, it’s adjustable and has firmed up the feel. I too came back from a Raptor and thought the feel was extremely loose.

If wanting to simply replace the stock stabilizer with no other mods, the Fox is the best choice. Works very well.

Thanks, you guys made me look. Checked earlier and I would swear there was no stabilizer. Just went back out and see it is all black and tucked up high.

Marc, you wouldn't happen to be related to Dan Fouts would ya!?

I am in the same arena as you. I like a very firm feel to the steering. The Fox ATS will give you that feel. I have had three of them on three different SD's and they have worked very well for me. To get the firm setting I like, I end up using 15 clicks from 0.

Some have had issues with the bolt on the arm (breaking) but I believe that has been fixed on the newer versions. To be clear, I've not had any issue with mine at all.

If you're just going to run a singe stabilizer (which is perfectly fine) King makes a great Stabilizer.

King does make a good stabilizer, as does Carli and some others. But Fox is the only one that gives a "push/pull" resistance. King, Carli and the others only push one way, thus requiring two, in opposite directions, to provide proper stabization. For just a replacement of the stock stabilizer, Fix is by far the best answer. FWIW, I have had the Fox in the past, and now have Carli upper and lower. So, I know the difference. Fox is really the best choice for the OP.

Does anyone have a link for the Fox? I have a RC dual SS , V2 and it does not seem to help the floaty steering. Do you feel the Fox solution will make it better?

I ordered the Fox ATS yesterday from Nick at apollo. Might want to check him out, he was great to deal with.'

Marc
I think you will be very pleased. I have had dual opposing, single and just about every solution known. The overall best feel and experience I've had has been with the Fox ATS. Even on a full level, 18 inch rims and 37x12.50r18 tires I liked the results better than the dual opposing setup. I don't do massive offroad stuff with a diesel, but I am certainly not dainty either.

Fox ats for the win. Just changed out to the PMF drag link and swapped out to the 1.5 diameter mount, world of difference with the ATS

I have a readylift leveling kit. Do I need a drop bracket and if so which one?

What’s the diameter of the apex drag link?
Apex site says 1.65"

The CJC website mentions these notes:

That’s part of the reason I went with PMF so I could use the upgraded clamp for their bar.
Looks like for the apex you have to use an oem style shock or go with dual steering stabilizers.
