Should the brakes feel so much different

There are some variants of F350 CCLB that come with hydroboost brakes instead of vacuum boost. That could account for the difference in feel. They don’t have less stopping power, the pedal feel is just different.

I know I’m linking to another forum but here is a thread about an SRW, CCLB, F350, 7.3L with hydroboost brakes.

Great info thanks.

So you guys are putting on brand new pads and rotors of a new truck? Another $300 for the front only?
Yes sadly .... i got in a accident can see it my thread about needing a new front bumper.... and the brakes it lock up and i could have not hit the lady in front of me and it could have been prevented so looking at better brakes .... they brakes stop the truck but in a emergeny situtation they are not ENOUGH.... yea its a 8k lbs truck but what about when your towing.... and when i was towing 16k lbs and getting off the highway and your going 70 to 80 mph ..... it is not fun hitting th brakes to come to a stop and it not fun ..... the truck needs more braking power at stock but NEEDS ALOT MORE FOR TOWING and yes i am diesel and have a exhuast brake but that doesn't stop you from 70 to 0 in a 1/8 mile exit lane ..... So yea if $300 for the front help you stop quicker then yea ... everyone should .... and ford should look at upgrading the stock brakes because ABS didn't even kick in when i hit the brakes completely .... the brakes didn't lock up at all ... idk if that by design or something is failing only have had the truck for a month but even when towing NEVER had ABS kick in

So went through the thread about hydro brakes and my f350 tremor 6.7 with 11500 gwvr doesn't have hydro brakes but it needs it

Would F450 brakes be an option? They are bigger and a good chance they would at least bolt on. Rim clearance might be an issue.

Well f450 normally have semi truck wheels and tires so idk

Sadly, hydroboost only comes on 176” wheelbase (or longer for commercial) SRW trucks and DRW. You might be able to install it though... it would definitely be expensive (hoses, p/s pump, and booster = $$$)

I honestly don't believe they do ... They suck if they are upgraded but check this out but if you order parts for a 2019 you can get the brakes but they will not warranty them .... But one of the other members confirm he has them on his trucks and says they are better then stock ones

So is this the kit? Realtruck Power Stop Z36 front and rear kit

4Wheel Parts Power Stop Front and Rear Kit (Cheaper than RealTruck)

Summit Racing Power Stop Front and Rear Kit

I'd like to know for future reference. The RealTruck seems way more expensive for whatever reason...

Yes, both of them have the same part numbers and will work on the 2020 Super duties ... you can buy them wherever just make sure its the same part number <------------- PWR-K6405-36 ------------>

You right JC tremor. But the snake pit added calipers pads and rotors.
Said he replaced a single rear due to a seal being ripped, which he did.

So no need to change calipers then No extra benefit huh.
