Should the brakes feel so much different

I've never heard of the Tremor having any different brakes than the normal F250/F350. I'd actually be surprised if it did.
Really? The dealer told me that. I haven't read it anywhere, I just trusted they knew what they were talking about.

I honestly don't believe they do ... They suck if they are upgraded but check this out but if you order parts for a 2019 you can get the brakes but they will not warranty them .... But one of the other members confirm he has them on his trucks and says they are better then stock ones

Nice, thanks for the link.

So the women was EXTREMELY UNHELPFUL... She said sorry we don't make anything for 2020 Superduty trucks .... I asked what is the difference between a 2019 and 2020 superdutys .... She said idk ... They aren't recommend on a 2020 superdutys .... We can't warranty our products if you put them on your vehicle sir ... And said have a nice day ...... WTF .... NEED A FORD TECH. Is there a difference on the axles or anything for a 2019 and 2020 Superduty I am just trying to do the fronts
Based on other threads reactions I don't think we are allowed to speculate about what may or may not be different between models and years. Bit of a sore subject right now.

Speak your mind my brother. It’s just others keep answering the question over and over. But this is a forum for us to ask some good and sometimes bad questions. I love the new input myself. Because other answers to come up. Sucks for those that get frustrated. I’m sure a lot of people have said FUCK THIS FOOL about me. It is what it is. Speak up though. ??✌️??????????

Yeah I don't get bent out of shape about any of it. I am curious about vehicles and mechanical things in general and am always open minded for a discussion. Don't like it, don't read it

There are some variants of F350 CCLB that come with hydroboost brakes instead of vacuum boost. That could account for the difference in feel. They don’t have less stopping power, the pedal feel is just different.

I know I’m linking to another forum but here is a thread about an SRW, CCLB, F350, 7.3L with hydroboost brakes.

I am the one who replaced their rotors/calipers with the Power Stop parts.
The Power stop parts were for a 2019 and they perfect fit on my truck.
I have about 600 miles on the truck with these brakes and no issues.
I will also say this..
I had to replace a rear caliper due to a torn caliper piston seal (my fault)
I replaced it with a 2019 caliper from NAPA (only one immediately available) and it was identical in appearance and fit to my original caliper.
The truck definitely stop better with the Power stop parts
I am guessing its the PS pads making the difference and not the rotors
Just my personal experience....Do what you like with the info....

I believe I saw from your other thread that you’re running 20’s (or at least larger than the stock 18’s. Do you think the PS setup will fit with the stock rims or is it larger than OEM and would thus necessitate stepping up to a larger rim?

Oh, just as a side note, all GMC HD trucks (including the AT4) come with hydroboost. Ultimately, feel is determined by the full vehicle (weight, tires, rotors, pads, transmission, etc.), not a single component but I thought I’d mention it.

I ordered 20's. I don't have them yet
I currently have 18's on the truck so the PS will work with your stock 18" Tremor wheels
Everything in the PS package is the same size as stock: pads, rotors...

Thank you very much.

FWIW one of the best upgrades I did on my truck was switching to the PowerStop Z36 pads and rotors. I noticed an immediate difference in how quickly it stopped and how much less brake dust I had on my wheels. Best money I ever spent on my truck and as soon as I get my new Tremor it will be one of the first things I do to it if they're available for a 21'.

I have used PS pads, rotors, calipers on many customers cars (Mustangs) with great results. They are affordably priced and have always delivered better braking performance.
They look good too...which doesn't hurt...

So you guys are putting on brand new pads and rotors of a new truck? Another $300 for the front only?
