Are you talking about this kit and the green plug in it? I have this kit installed if so.
ASAP has a kit for $105 (20-22) or $125 (23+), more palatable than the Shibby kit. Seems to work fine.

$300 would be nuts. I paid $153.80 direct from Shibby. That is still a little nuts, but a lot less nuts than $300.

That is going to be where that green plug goes. I've got to find the thing though, and I strongly suspect that it is in a box of parts 300 miles away that are not currently in use on my truck.

Yep, that is the part the green cap is mounted in the pic I attached on this thread. Your shop must have removed it then.
