Rossmonster Truck Build – 2024 F350 (long wheelbase)

No bags in my case. I think the full-travel bags from Carli are the only ones that would work with the suspension (but I could be wrong). I saw your posting about the Logiq bags. Very interesting topic.
Yeah the LT bags are sick. Might be worth looking into. It’s nice to be able to adjust to load and like i mentioned in the Logiq thread leveling your truck while camping is amazing lol.

Yeah, the leveling capabilities would be fantastic to have :)

I went to Deaver Off-road Suspension in Santa Ana yesterday and had them add an additional leaf to the Carli Progressive XXHD leaf springs. Took almost 7 hours (usually 4) due to the Rossmonster camper on the back and them having a little less space to work with accordingly.

I am quite happy with the result. The rear of the truck went up by about 1 inch. While the truck was not sagging before, it was not level either. Now it is almost 100% level and I am almost at travel weight (half tank of fuel, half tank of water - otherwise almost fully loaded).

The ride quality is a tiny little bit "rougher" compared to before, but not in a bad way. Driving at highway speeds, I noticed less sway and overall better handling in curves or when changing lanes.

I am quite happy with the outcome based on driving 50 miles with it yesterday. It does not add to GVWR of course, but knowing that the Carli XXHD Progressive leaf springs are rated for 3500 lbs it is definitely something that improves the weight capacity for the truck (compared to the 3500 lbs).

Next thing is an anti-rust treatment with some of the Eastwood stuff on areas where I see some surface rust.

The Deaver team did a fantastic job. The shop may look underwhelming, but don't be fooled - there is a hard-working team with good people at work.

The folks at Deaver are always great to work with. I've never had anything but positive experience there. The truck is sitting nicely now!

Got back from Big Bear a couple of days ago. Some impressions attached. Very happy with how the upgraded leaf springs handled the off-roading.
Yellow Post Campsite #33 - fantastic campsite to come back to. Great views!

This week I have been at Rossmonster for some maintenance and some cool upgrades to my Rossmonster Baja.

I took the opportunity to get a tour of their new location, which they moved into earlier this summer. Really good to see how the company has grown and how they build all these cool rigs and vans.

Hey chris. In contacted Deaver for a similar upgrade. They needed a bunch of info I didn’t have for the current set up. Can you possibly provide me with some info that they can refer to to do the same thing??

I provided them with info about my specific rig, total weight when fully loaded, current leaf spring pack (XXHD), my specific use-case, and so on. I also pointed out that the rig is almost always at full weight with water and fuel being the main differences. I think I also sent them a copy of the sticker from the doorwell. They asked a few more questions when I was on-site.

I hope this helps :)
