Raptor Steering Wheel Mod - Super Duty Tremor

I don’t see adaptive steering. I have it all done with wheel, clockspring and HCM. It’s back together except getting the power to the HCM and connecting to BCM…

I got them both from GreyGoose. I selected that I have a 22. Crap. It says through 21 on there site. Eff me. Any recourse? I was going to go with Ryan but we missed connections and I just ordered from GG

I have ordered a harness from Ryan for my 22. I will need to button it up tomorrow. I am assuming it is okay to leave the incomplete install GG harness and til I replace it?

What’s the method for removing pins in a harness after they are clicked in? lol. I have the retaining lock open. Oye. Green and white need to come out.

I seem to recall the harness at something around $125-$150, but the steering wheel prices seem to have jumped since I did my install. Would do it all again in a heartbeat, however, as I use the heat a whole to more than I originally figured I would! And having paddle shifting instead of column shifting is a great addition as well. The only dicey part for me was figuring out the depinning for some of the connectors. Best of luck with the install.

I live in the south, and I still love the heated steering wheel. It came with the lariat for 24', I wouldn't have gotten it otherwise. But, having it sure is nice

I got my new raptor wheel and am just prepping it as much as i can before the install....Im sure this is a dumb question but When you guys swapped the bezel out you left all the wires in there like this correct then the gray and black plugs will go into my bezel I have on the 22 lariat tremor?

I received the harness from Ryan for my 22 lariat, after looking over the directions I don't see where the module gets connected. Does anyone have insight or directions where that goes? In the pre 22 video I found on the forum the module gets plugged in on the passenger side.

Ryan should have emailed you directions with pictures. Check your email. If not let me know and I can forward it to you as I am awaiting my harness.

The video linked in this thread shows exactly where the heating module goes. On 22, it’s behind the kick panel on the crossbar.

Use a paper clip sir. It’s what I had to revert to when I needed to unpin the grey goose harness. Look at my previous posts sir.

Well safe to say I fucked up.....I thought I had the release on the pin and gave it a tug well the wire broke from the pin. I'm now trying to find a new pin to attach to the wire. I'll be hitting up the ford dealer in the AM. Other than that and forscan everything else is done. This was the first one I tried to depin this afternoon. I'm not even sure what to ask the dealer for or if they'll carry something like this.

OK got everything fixed....heated steering wheel portion works but none of the buttons do any of you have an idea what may be wrong. I swapped over my lariat bezel.

If you swapped over you original bezel/buttons the only thing that immediately comes to mind is the connectors maybe aren't pushed in all the way?

Yep you guessed it....I appreciate your help. It was one hell of a project for me this weekend. I was freaking out when I broke that one wire but everything is repaired and working as it should.
