Pinstripes be GONE!

Mine was the same. Even the hood.

Buffed everything even the plastic trim

@TellurideTremor - This is inspiring. Thanks.

Big Bend Ranch SP did my truck dirty like that too. I’ve been torn between wearing them as a badge of honor and wanting to clean it up. I’m sure you were in the place - even my hood, a pillars, and roof are scratched. Of course my plastics are messed up too - side badges, upper door panels, mirrors. Paint is only part of the story.

Your pic is pretty much exactly how bad mine was. BBSP is rough and some of the growth in the middle of the trail is 4' tall coming over the hood

Pinstripes on your truck is like walking into a bar with a black eye. It’s character and a badge of honor.

Well maybe when is was 25. I would be in the driveway polishing those out to. Nice work!

Yes. I believe I remember the same things from back in the day before I had kids when I was younger and into this stuff. I would frequent autogeek forum and talk to detailers. Thats where I learned about Colinite 845 insulator wax.

Being young I loved the “time” and “elbow grease” or say it with your chest that yea I polished and waxed all that by hand regarding my f150 at the time…

Now … you’d have to pay me to do that to my own truck lol.
I can't even break down and pay someone else to do it. Much less get paid to do it 😉

Dang you made her look really good! thanks for sharing!

I'm going to install carpet tape before i leave for Arkansas (to test how well it handles on the road - which i believe itll do just fine).
I'll be bringing with me the leftover plus two more rolls. Anyone who wants to use it, can. First come, first serve, of course.
I havent tested how well it adheres to a waxed/ceramic'd vehicle but... i suspect it should hold up decent for at least two days.
