Parts Included 5th Wheel Setup

I was showing off my truck to a buddy with the 2019 FX4 SuperDuty. He has the 5th wheel setup too. He said his truck came with the ball and some other parts for the 5th wheel. Mine only came with the wiring harnesses. Anyone else get more parts?

I think there’s a difference between 5th wheel prep kit and 5th wheel some-other-package

I got the ball and safety chain cleats in a case as well, it's not standard it's an extra item on the order beyond the 5th wheel prep.

Yes! That’s what I remember him saying. I didn’t get that. I wonder what the difference in our packages are.

There are two different options.

5th wheel prep package is the puck system and 7 pin in the bed.

5th wheel hitch kit is the ball and safety cleats.

I factory ordered the 5th wheel prep and then ordered the same exact kit (Reese) later. Saved a couple hundred or so it's marked up as a factory order.

This is the gooseneck hitch kit...its on my sticker...$250 ...part number below
