Other Rides

Awesome Datsuns. I was a Datsun guy up till '79 when they went from the z to the zx hairdressser car and most small sedans were front wheel drive. The 1971 510 2dr sedan with the L16 and independent suspension will always be one of the best cars I ever owned. Mine was lowered on the full Mulholland race suspension, 240Z flat top pistons, cam from an L20B (Same as SSS cam).....awesome car. Had a few Z cars (was even one of the first to have an '03 350Z). My race buddy had Z cars, 1200, and a 610, all great cars.
Let me know if you ever want to sell the 510 sedan.
My friend, everything is for sale…😀

Who doesn't know what that first beauty is? Awesome!

You should take the Pink Panther to Icon 4x4 and have them pimp it out for you!

You'd be surprised how many people don't know it. In fact, in 25 years of ownership I think I can count on one hand the number of people who have come up to me knowing the name. Even fewer who know the history.

Icon make some awesome trucks! They are CRAZY expensive. Also, love the Pink Panther! That may be it's new nickname.

I'm no expert on them but I did bang up me mum's Rambler! 🤡

Oh, and when I was four or five I somehow got our Studebaker out of gear and managed to roll it backwards down our steep ass driveway, across the street, and onto the neighbor's lawn without dinging it!
Yeah, I'm a regular Evel Knievel. At least I was licensed when I did the Rambler.

Is yours stock? My bro says it looks modified.

BTW, if you ever listened to Click and Clack on NPR I would
say THAT is the quintessential Sleek Black Beauty! 😍

Appearance wise, it's completely stock. The suspension was revamped given its age and the wheels were swapped. But otherwise pretty much factory. It's looks odd to your brother because it's not a 1963 or 64 (the studebaker years). It's a 1991, the last year they were made.

Also, Car Talk is one of my favorite shows. I'm pretty sure I've listened to them all. Even the special episode for Tom. Great show even if you're not a car guy.

Here’s what Charley our 2022 Tremor will be towing around this year. Here’s our Ranger Tug 27, Airstream 26 Flying Cloud and my 2007 Honda S2000. We put close to 90k miles on our 2019 F250 we thought it would be a good time to upgrade and have a warranty again.

1998 European M3 thats a bit of a project (BMW guys will get the significance)
Even guys w/o a BMW (like me) get the significance of that one... Very cool!!!

My first car was a Ford GT Falcon. 351 Cleveland, Tremec HD 5 speed, 9inch disc brake rear end. Travelled through deserts, creeks, rivers, mud, corrugations, dips, cattle grids, washaways and freeways. Best times of my life in that car. View attachment 12989View attachment 12990
I love that everything down there gets a military grade front bumper😜👍

A new “other ride” coming soon. A 68 California Special mustang. Just got it out of the paint shop after a short 10 year stay. Lol. Now I have to put it all back together.
