Hey everyone,

Well, it took longer than I wanted, but the cowl water diverter is finally done and up on the site. Thanks for hanging in there while I kept tweaking it. A lot of what ended up in the final version came from this thread.

Quick rundown on where it landed:
  • It bolts in using the factory mounting points. No hooks and no drilling, and it's stainless hardware with a captured lock nut, so it's not going anywhere.
  • It's wide enough to catch all of the drainage coming off the cowl, and the floor slopes to the drain so water doesn't sit in it.
  • A filter tray screws in to catch leaves and the bigger debris before they reach the hose. Once it’s in, you shouldn’t ever need to touch it.
  • It's made from carbon-fiber-reinforced acrylonitrile styrene acrylate, so heat isn't a worry.
  • Comes with 18" of 5/8" silicone hose and a clamp.
  • Passenger side, 2023+.

It's $54 and here's the link:

While I'm here, a few other things went up recently in case you missed them:

On discounts, supporting members can use their 15% code, and the diverter clears the $50 minimum on its own. First-time buyers automatically get 10% off. They don't combine.

One heads-up: the day job has me traveling for the next couple of weeks, so orders may take a little longer to go out. Everything will still ship, just give me a bit of grace.

Thanks again, everyone.

Dig the debris filter!!

I just know when we are out at the cabins, seems like I'm digging out pine needles and leaves from the engine bay for a month! 😂
You aren’t wrong there! We have River Birch here. The little leaves are like the glitter of the arbor world!

This looks great.

Ordered.

The strainer was a great idea!

Thanks! We didn't want to run the risk of the diverter become a collection device, especially with fall being here and all the wet, dying leaves that seem to find their way into the worst places!

We mimicked the ones in the cowl piece. The tray will catch the big stuff and with the 5/8" ID drain at the bottom, anything that gets past the drain with flush out. However, the strainer is removable should you need to clean the tray out for any reasons.

Great looking product, brother! Congrats!

I was going to order one but I don’t know what the 15% forum discount code is?

Thanks
