On Board Air - Custom Flush Mounted Air Coupler

Attached is my build It consists of the following:
ARB CKMTA Compressor.
Vixen 3 gallon tank link
40" Stainless steel reinforced hose (compressor to tank) link
90 degree adapter fitting for compressor to tank link
1/4" DOT air line hose link
3/8 plug for one end (air horn to be added here later) link
Combined the 2 40 watt lines on the compressor and run a 4 gauge power line with a 100 amp fuse and ran this directly to the battery (that is what is on the battery). link

10" brackets bought at home depot that I cut down and used a drill press to mount the feet of the compressor to. I then bolted the bracket to the spare tire attachment plate. There are grooves on the tire mounting plate that these brackets slide into perfectly. Thanks again Trofeo for finding & sharing these! YOu can see that they were cut down and you also need to first insert the brackets, then add the feet and straps for the tank. I will include some pictures of what I did as it is it was time consuming. link

The spare tire mounts easily with no issues. Thanks again to Trefeo and all of the members on this forum who make it great.

Mtn_Skier...Thanks so much for posting up your positive feedback of our flush mounted air coupler. My son and I love building these. He gets a kick out of seeing the actual install of his efforts. Your install came out really clean, great job!
 
Just one more shoutout about how well made this part is! I have only a single outlet plumbed off my air tank (with the other holes handling the drain, relief valve and inlet from the compressor) and it runs to this coupler. Using a pressure gauge with a quick connect on it and testing at this coupler, the system has held over 125 psi for over a week now! Great product!
 
The positive feedback is very much appreciated, since these aren't made in high volume and not made in China (lol) we do put alot of time into making sure they are as perfect as possible. Glad you like it, we pressure test each unit to 150psi and spray with lots of bubbles.
