On Board Air - Custom Flush Mounted Air Coupler

hi @trofeo160 I may consider this. Shoot me a DM when you're on. I have a few questions. TY!

I assume the ARB hoses are 1/4, and I would keep the 1/4. Looks like a 2" hole in the bumper too, eh?

Received mine earlier this week in the mail. 10/10 can't wait to get this installed. I had an ARB compressor on my tundra before and man, opening the hood every time to use it sure does get annoying, especially in the rain. This will sure make airing up after driving on the beach a lot easier. Appreciate it!

Glad you like it, thank you for the positive feedback.

Got mine too. Solid build and high quality. Can't wait to install it, as it is feeding a potato gun to launch TPU printed plastic mortars that whistle loudly and the kids just absolutely love it.

I see any entirely new use case for these now. I can't wait to try mine for a potato gun on the beach. Genius!

It's so much fun! A lot of places ban fireworks but this is (mostly) safe. We launch them onto the lake and the kids love retrieving them with the paddleboards since they float. Glow-in-the-dark mortars make night launches a fun spectacle!!

Check out "Germy Ballswell" on YouTube and Instagram, he's got a lot of mortar designs to 3D print and shows how easy it is to build one; I prefer the whistling ones. Vevor unit is $100 (or this one for $150 with trigger guard) and a couple inexpensive PVC pieces at hardware store and you're in business.

I had my air coupler installed a couple years ago. It did work well until couple weeks ago when it had a catastrophic failure. Not sure if I had too much air pressure or what, but the internals detached from the mount and coupler wouldn't disconnect without significant effort. Ultimately I removed it, ordered another, and trofeo160 built me a second one.

Glad this popped up again. I forgot bought one - I need to complete this project among others.

Same here. Parts have been sitting in garage for almost three years.
