Recently took a 700 mile trip with my 24 Tremor, 6.7 HO, Lariat Ultimate package, Blackout, etc.
While driving on the highway - cruise control sometimes on, sometimes not....a sudden and noticeable blast of AC would come out, as if to almost say "wake up!". I wasn't nodding, dozing, anything like that at all. Most of the time in cruise control rolling 80-85. Just found it interesting, sometimes I had AC on , sometimes off - but it did this blast regularly while cruising on the highway.
Any thoughts? I cant find any info..

Climate Control set to AUTO by chance??

Ive only had my truck during hot weather so my AC is always blasting…but all the warnings and “safety” features are friggin annoying.

Yeah I was just about to take a nap last week while I was driving down the freeway and my truck started beeping at me. Annoying because it woke me up…..I had cruise control on which is basically auto pilot right??

Seriously my AC does that too. It will be in the lowest setting and then all of a sudden it blows a lot of cold air at me. I attribute that to the “auto” setting and the system is just adjusting to the temp I have it set too

I have the "fixed" A/C compressor and mine just did the same thing about 1.5 hours into a highway drive. I don't use auto anything, so mine was just on whatever temp I set and fan speed. It was probably at 68 when that arctic blast came through. Not complaining, much better than no A/C at all. Just another of many Ford anomalies.

Mine will go off and on when I accelerate hard. Step on pedal air stops blowing cold ease up or let off and back to cold

My 22 does the same thing. And sometimes the A/C just decides to stop working for funsies, like when I'm out in the desert and its 110F. Stops for 30 min, just long enough to get me good, sweaty and pissed, then it comes back on. I don't like the computer sitting in between the dash inputs and the results.

It’s the nanny controls on all these 100k trucks 🙄😂
You mean like the prompt which locks my transmission shifter every time I start the truck until I acknowledge I know there's something plugged into the bed outlet, or the prompt I have to afterwards clear from the center screen because I've elected to keep front collision braking disabled?

Whenever I'm on a phone call via Bluetooth the AC goes to a lower setting. Right when the conversation ends, it goes full blast again. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Same
Does it in reverse too

Those exactly! I hope I never have to buy a new vehicle again because I can’t stand all that stuff.

Same thing happens to mine. I have to disengage the circulate button and hit it again to "fix" it. Usually about every 30-35 min.

Yes, normal. But on mine, the driver screen stays on the phone page after I hang up. Does not matter if the call was incoming or outgoing. Real stupid. I never use that page on the main dash, but after every call, there it is. That and the power folding mirrors that refuse to operate if the truck is powered off are 2 of my bugaboos. But thank God every light interior and exterior turns on whenever i open a door. That is just great.
